i know everyone hated season 8, but i personally loved it, not gonna lie
Season 7 was worse imo
The final season I was mostly fine with. My issues were the 3rd episode where the whole battle is in the dark. So looking forward to the 4k disc in that it is definitely a better vision. I was ok with danys end, and Arya and sansa their conclusions as well. I didn't like cerseis ending i felt it could have been better. My overall problem with 8 was sometimes the story went quick and glossed over details while other moments dragged and felt like was doing so to make time. Still was a solid season so my initial grade after seeing it was a solid B. I hinged the whole show just prior to season 8 so maybe thats why I'm not as hard on the final season as others.

I think season 8 was ok and all the ideas they had for this season where great but it should’ve had twice as many episodes

I was wondering are all the special features from features included in the 4K set?
I think if you wish those discs weren’t stacked, you could switch them to other cases with a 4-disc holder and a 3-disc holder
I'm probably one of the few people who have never seen a single episode of Game of Thrones. Been wanting to dive in, and I really dig this set. Think I will have to put it on my wish list
it's not overrated, it deserves all the hype it had.

I’ve seen all episodes it’s a slow burn series I like the visual of the show I was okay with every episode not a all time favorite of mine
*I'm kinda regretting I bought it: not only we no longer have that option that allows you to play each episode seamlessly, without any interruptions as you change from one disc to the next one, but I also find myself watching some bits that look as if I'm watching a regular/mediocre Blu-ray version or, much worse, a DVD or a VHS cassette: in season 2, for instance, there's a scene (I can't remember the number of the episode), in which Cersei confronts Tyrion about him sending Myrcella to Dorne; I swear to God it was as if I was watching some shitty recording from a 90s TV show on VHS; simply appalling.*

I can’t wait to but mine. Game of Thrones is definitely one of my favorite shows of all time. I think season could’ve been better if it wasn’t rushed and it needed a different structure design in my opinion. Battle of the Bastards is my favorite Game of Thrones episode.🙌🔥🙌🔥🙌🔥

I don't think there was a prefect way to end the show and make all of the fans happy. You are right that it could have better, however I think it was ended in the way and try make most of the fans happy.
100% agree. I think Breaking Bad is the only show that nailed the ending
I can totally agree with you. At the moment that everything was coming to an end i think everyone knew that it wasnt going to make people completely happy.

The picture quality might be better for that set, but I'm cool with all of the original Blu-ray releases that fold out and has better artwork. I miss tv series having fold out sets instead of standard dvd or Blu-ray cases.
Ok but beware of no DOLBY ATMOS remix SEASON 1-4 on 1080p BLU-RAY on first editions
Not me. They're big and bulky for no reason. I like small cases that get to the point. I just wanna open and take the disc out

P.S. - Have you watched the set, yet, David? What's the difference between the gold stripe and the silver stripe on the box? And did you have any problems with your boxset? Several people on Amazon had errors watching their 4K boxsets.
I bought seasons 1-7 on 4K blu-ray individually because I don't want to own season 8

The second to last epsidoe of season 3. The red wedding. Not sure if that the title. But the episode was a masterpiece especially the end. Dont worry no spoilers. But hot damn!

Yup! Its called the “Cinema Deviant Cut”. Its waaaaaay better but it involves hand drawn stick figures and He-Man toys. 🤷♂️
