Thank you for sharing all the beauty and creativity of your daily work and life, I feel so inspired, and it excites me in my own crafting and daily work❤️
Hi. So good to see you back, and with so much energy and news related to the mill. It's all so exciting. I love your Alpine bloom top. My first thought as an ex bag maker was that those felted fabric pieces would make beautiful project bags❤. Anyway, till next time, happy knitting and milling etc....
Hi Dinnie , so good to see you! I have been wondering how you were, really busy as always. I never considered until you said about how busy this time of year is for you all, Christmas, New Year, then summer holidays all crammed in together! Your bloom top is just lovely, really like your colour choices . So much progress on the mill, looking forward to you showing us, I am a more visual person so a lot of the Pacific’s went over my head 😅 I so enjoy it when you put in footage of the countryside, sheep, and of course Red. Your Honey looked delicious 🍯🐝. See you soon, Suze. 🧶🐑🐕 🤗
Hi Sue. So many celebrations are season wise the 'wrong way round' for us. Halloween is in spring, Easter is autumn, fireworks day (5 November) is usually when the days are light for longer whereas in Europe it is dark by 3pm! Can't remember when I last had turkey for Christmas. It is so hot we usually have glazed ham and salads. Thanks for the comment.
hi it was so cool to see you on the Junction fibre mill millcast, I caught up on some of their back episodes. and Fibrechats on TH-cam did a visit and tour of their mill in her latest episode very interesting. looking forward to seeing more of your mill and yarn.
Dinie, check my ravelry projects page. There is a picture of Gurunn with a top designed by Melanie Berg. Same issues with the fit ie loose/wide neck, stickout sleeves. I picked up the neck sts with a thinner yarn, knitted a couple of rows st. st. and cast off. It made a huge difference to the fit. Beautiful drape so I would like to knit another with longer sleeves for myself.
G’day from Australia, I love your podcast and immediately subscribed. I would like to add that the top you are wearing looks fabulous and like you I don’t like wearing wide necklines but after seeing this on you I want to knit it, the neckline looks very stylish. 😊 when are you going to start the knit along as I would love to join in?
Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I am sure it is much hotter where you are! I’ve already given the pretty in pink top away 😂 I can’t ask for it back. Even if it is my sister!!
Enjoyed watching this latest episode. I wonder with your Pretty in Pink if it might help if you put in a crochet edging around the neck to tighten it up a bit. I have done this before and I've heard other people doing it too. Lovely colour. I have some Holst cotton/merino and you have me thinking that I will pair it with something. I agree that it is very very fine. Best wishes! (Margaret of My Wonderful Knitting Life podcast)
You wont cope with evaporative cooling with the climate change weather. But I understand you need the humidity from evaporative units for the yarn. Adelaide did have dry summer heat but not anymore - so humid, therefore evaporative coolers dont work any longer during summer.
I only need to use it when humidity is low. Not for the cooling effect. That is a bonus side effect. Humidity has to be above 70% otherwise I get lots of static on the machines

Thank you! That warms my cockles!
What a genius idea to get the felt loom! Great projects, and potential!❤❤
