Have to say, usually the whole ‘what I am drinking’ section of many podcasts is a bit tedious - however, your ant infused tea has definitely raised the bar for originality!

Hello from Central Otago!👋. Anybody that’s a nurse ( I hated obstetrics!), loves knitting and can drink tea with an ant floating in it, is my kind of person!🤗. Have just found your podcasts and enjoying them, this one I watched while cutting up plums for chutney, made the job much more enjoyable. Have subscribed and now to watch the rest.

Hello from the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island! What a gorgeous property you have - truly beautiful! I’m so looking forward to seeing your journey with the mill - I’m also a lover of unspun wool and of Nutiden in particular. Love your knits and must cast on the Versal . I am also an imperfect knitter after many years of knitting so you are certainly not alone with that. We have honesty boxes here too- nice to know that most people must be honest! I really enjoy your podcast - thank you!

@@myimperfectknittinglife9104 yes, it was my daughter's 2nd baby, I was driving her to hospital, the baby's head crowned, I pulled over to the side of the road, my daughter was in the front passenger seat, I just had to lean across she basically slid into my arms, my daughter was very calm, she even looked at the time on the dashboard, 4:01am, she just held the baby against her skin, as soon as I could see she was breathing and ok, we drove the last 5 minutes to the hospital, they came out with a wheel chair untangled them from the seat belt and delivered the placenta in the birthing suite. Mum and baby we're fine, grandma was a bit shaken lol. That baby girl is now 16. I was there at all three of my daughter's babies births.

I am so happy that youtube recommended your channel, what a lucky day for me! I am from Oklahoma in the US and have only been knitting for about 5 years. Still quite a novice but I love making sweaters and vests. I consider my imperfections as giving the piece character :) Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. family is what makes my world go around anyway so I am so happy for you. Hello Dinie, congratulations on little Sophia’s birth…hope mother and daughter are doing well…love the sweaters and shawl you shared…I love your logo…and the shed…here in USA, we have a “SHE SHED” for crafts, knitting, cross stitch and crochet…I have used one brand of un spun yarn here in the states…it was not labeled as such and I was trying to make a simple hat and scarf…really thought it would pull apart with wearing so it was put away…will try to get it out to see what can do with it…it will be so interesting to see your filming about the installation of your wool mill…you might want to consider renting to others that want to process their own wool…I see a busy future for you…best wishes and happy stitching ❣️

Congratulations on the arrival of "Little Sophie!"
I love to crochet and knit baby items.
I'm an American and I was so saddened by the Queen's passing. I've always admired her strength and grace in handling even in the most troubling of times. I loved when she shared her humorous side too.
The green yarn choice for your vest is a perfect color match. A gray would have been pretty too.
Loved sharing a stroll out to the "Little Mill Over the Hill" and seeing the honesty bin. I've seen one here in California near my Auntie's house. I had a giggle over it myself. 😊
Looking forward to our next visit, Dinie.

Fantastic - loved this 2nd podcast as well - now feeling very homesick for NZ. What a perfect spot for a mill and divine location for a place to live. I am certain your following will continue to grow fast - great knitting content - and everyone is no doubt fascinated by your forthcoming enterprise too !!

Just watched your first podcast and was going to comment how much I would love to see your mill adventures. And the second episode popped up. So happy that you decided to join the world of podcasters :)

Good news about your new granddaughter, what an experience to remember and recount…catching her into the world. Had to laugh about the ant flavoured water, that would be the Formic acid that she tastes. See you next time!

So glad to see another podcast. My goddaughter lives in NZ and I would love so much to visit her there. Congratulations on the birth of Sophie and Thankyou for your commiserations about the Queen.
Your shawl is absolutely beautiful and I was hoping you were going to tell us what the colour is because it was perfect. I can’t wear anything itchy (except on my feet so I knit all mine and husband’s sox!) so am always looking for recommendations for non-itchy yarn! Lovely to see the shed too. Thankyou.

Love your videos, but I'm confused. First, what is a mill? Second, you talked about watching it packed up and going away--so did you have a mill and sell it?
I am amazed at how prolific your are with your knitting projects. I've been working on a crochet afghan for weeks now, and still have a ways to go.
