My daily driver is a V60 and my summer car is a '90 745 Turbo with 100k. As much as I love the V60 for its comfort and technology, at the end of the day, the 745 Turbo is the car that puts a smile on my face whenever I take it out.
We can understand this like no other now :)
The S60 has a wonderful steering wheel allowing you to control your radio. It takes just a very little time to control the radio console blind.
Mine got a Bluetooth to Aux converter simply start your car and within 10 seconds your sound is ready to go.
The delay is just perfect to give your engine a tiny warm up before starting with some load.
Bad news about the s60😢.. I'm also very happy 10years now with my 1990 740

Ongelukkig einde voor een S60:( Ik heb nu m'n tweede 2.5t (uit 2009) en zie dat mijn oude nu op marktplaats staat. Verkocht met 350k en nu te koop, iets minder dan 2 jaar later met 375k, inclusief gele mistlampen, zwarte pegasus en een vleugel op de kofferbak!

The new Volvo Cars are okay. They are typical new cars. They drive like any other car. The 740 has soul. The 240 is even better. My daily, and only, driver is the 1990 240DL Estate my mother bought as her 60th birthday present to herself. The car is named Arthur, and he had his 600,000 kilometer service in May. 31 Ontario, Canada winters have taken a toll, but there is still no rot anywhere. I will keep on with the car I love. Having said that, I saw the aftermath of a collision this afternoon. A Volvo just like this S60 had been hit on the right rear corner by a 2 or 3 year old Chevrolet pick up truck. I only hope nobody was on the right rear seat, as that seating position was gone. I was shocked at how poorly the car stood up to the impact.
Nice to hear, good cars like these should be preserved. Hopefully everyone got out unharmed, at least the owner of our S60 did :)

Theres a rare s60 t5 ín my country which has only 40k kms on it, literally new, barely has had any use. Im not sure if i should go and buy it
If the price is fair you won't regret it. What's making you doubt it?
@@DrivenbyDrivers The price is 10.000 euros and will pay a transporter/truck to bring it to netherlands which is where i live for the past years.
the question here is i have never driven a volvo but i love them, so i am not sure thats why.
@@SupremeLordEnki depends on what you are looking for in a car. They are comfortabel and reliable when maintained properly, but in our opinion they cant beat Audi, BMW or Mercedes when it comes to comfort and drivers feeling. It sounds cliche, but maybe just follow your heart? We are also curious to hear where your country is because the price for a car like that seems good 🙂
@@DrivenbyDrivers I have an audi a4 avant, and i like it, and i have own few bmws, old ones such as e30 36 34 39 and 92 and i dont like them at all, just for the looks they give, currently only have a e36 coupe and its a pain to have this car and constantly fixing it, has spent more months in a garage mechanic than me driving it here in NL/BE.
As for the Audi zero problems basically and my type r honda ej6 swapped also zero problems in 5 years.
As for volvos i love the v70 t5 or t6 but cant find one that is from a garage with warranty, I can find plenty of T5 everywhere in my country portugal for like 1000 or 2k, but then i would have to put some money in repairing the obvious things on them and also low milage like 150 to 250k which is nothing for volvos.
But this one has only 40k, in which i didn't believe but then i saw the history of the car being checked out on volvos garage.
Sadly neither Belgium or NLands has T5 or T6... while my country is full of them everywhere for cheap prices. Probably profatable to buy and sell some here for the fanatics who try very hard to find a T5.
