Tyrael's mana issues are part of his lore, he spends almost two entire video games (Diablo 2 & 3) sitting in base, they really want you to get the true embodiment of the character.
Totally agree about his mana issues. Tyrael is one of my favorite heroes, but I don’t play him much because of his mana issues. I mean give him something!
@@angussharington2374 I think the reason he doesn’t actually is that is one of the ways he is balanced. In pro play he is almost unkillable making walls everywhere with his only limiting factor being his mana pool. With that taken away he would begin to become this ever present nuisance causing some games to feel very bad in the right situations. So alas the best we can do is hearth after every fight.
The first time I saw anything related to HOTS here on TH-cam was one of your videos playing Tyrael. In that moment I met not only one of my most played games to date and a hero that I'd main for years, but also your channel which I still watch these days. Keep up the good work bro
I haven't laughed so hard in so long, that truthful rant / desperate plea for more mana for Tyrael had me rolling, hahaha. Ty for all the laughs throughout the years Pally, helped me through some hard times
I'm 63-12-1 now following your builds. This isn't typically how I build Tyrael except for 1 talent ,and it's IMO the most important talent on him and really should be baseline on him (and probably weakened a bit to account for that), and that is Holy Ground at 13. With that talent I am an absolute force with Tyrael and without it I'm half a character. I am quite good at combining the blocking field with body blocking to pin enemies in awkward spots where they have to either fight through me or walk into my entire team at a time when they wanted to escape. I love how much space I can take up with this hero that no other hero can. I love the panic blocking field can create and the ability to cut team members off from each other. I need this to be baseline because there's no reason to take anything else at 13
It would be interesting if he had a trait/talent that made it that he gained mana back while he/allies were taking damage he gains abit of mana back, and it ramp up as more allies are around you taking damage. If it were tied to the use of a ability might make that abit more balanced.
i was going to say something smart ass, but i agree too much. his trait is tragic, the only way you get value out of it is by dying which should make it really good... BUT i rarely see it provide any benefit let alone actually securing a kill and is in my opinion, hands down the absolute most worthless talent in the game.
Tyral always had mana issues but i think it's because of balancing strategies. If they reduce his mana consumption by going lifesteel talent at level 7 you almost never need to go to base which is really OP. Also Tryal stregnth as a tank is to boost alies Attack speed and Movement speed.
18:00 Funniest rant about mana I have ever heard! This is why I stopped playing Tyrael, I do one fight then have to base because I am OOM. Super frustrating to play. Just have him regain mana with each basic attack like Uther. Make it a talent, f@#$ it, I will take it every game. Something, Blizzard, jeez.
I know that it’s got to be hard sometimes to find good games to post, but I must admit that I just don’t want to watch you lose: I check the end of the video after your talk at the start and if you’re going to lose I just skip it, sorry Pally :-(
Posting games where he just stomps wouldn't really show case the character though... I believe the point is to show how the character works in a real game, not just one where you faceroll. This was a good game which could have easily been won if someone went back to defend and it went down to the next push. I think this game showed exactly how good Tyrael could be and shows how much it sucks to not be able to use your abilities.
Meh, posting nothing but wins would feel really disingenuous, not to mention a poor reflection of how it is to actually play the game. Besides, posting the losses makes the wins feel more meaningful.
@@Draeckon I know it wouldn’t be a “realistic” view of how most people experience the game, but if I want to experience losses then I can just play Quick Match myself :-) Videos are escapism and I just don’t enjoy that including losing ;-)
I have to disagree, watching a snowball is not as exciting as a nail biter. But most importantly, learning how to dig yourself out when it's looking like a loss is something worth spreading in a game like this. Too many people gage the outcome of the match on the first engagement and then start sprinkling the salt on the rest of their team. This is what I love most about Pally, he shows people a better way with his attitude and helps players learn a perspective about each character they may not have had previously.
@@bralius Oh: I much prefer the game to be close, but what I enjoy is a close *win* ;-) I also very much enjoy this series and as I said in my original post: I realise I’m being unfair and I do apologise for skipping losing games, but as I say: I just don’t enjoy watching them!

BEST COMMENT! XD
Brilliant! :D
Totally agree about his mana issues. Tyrael is one of my favorite heroes, but I don’t play him much because of his mana issues. I mean give him something!
It would be so easy, just bake in some mana reg into the Regen Orb quest, but I think Blizzard has to prioritize saving other games at the moment
@@angussharington2374 even like 1 mana per tic would be helpful!

Imperious has the same thing. And yea both heroes would be too strong if they didn't get limited by mana
1:58 tgn squadron days is a time i really miss. heroes unite vids was an immediate watch. ty for the memories
Yeah, as much as I appreciate Heroes Hearth for trying to pick up the banner, it's just not the same without the old Squad.
Such good times. Still rewatch them sometimes if YT recommends them.
AGREED! CRISPY TACO FTW!
I felt that mana rant in my soul
I could only get halfway through the rant bc I ran out of mana and had to run back to base
@@googiegress found the tyrael main! :)
Yep and I could totally feel it and relate to it as well lol 🤣

Pally has broken free from the Elden Ring to resume the slow burn of the final A-Z. I don't blame him, it's a glorious circle.
*emote* "the ring"

Real ones will never forget the Crispy Taco 🌮
I like how you say onslaught. Tyrael's trait also reduces the respawn timer for each enemy hero hit by the blast.
That plot twist is insane
Yes! I've waited so long for this video! I love playing Tyrael as I think he is super balanced and has enough playstyles to be interesting

Down to the wire! Enemy team was on point the whole match.
Ok, that ending was hilarious and amazing.
Love the content as always.
9:07 Had me dying! GG pally.
maaan, these started coming out like HOTS patches now :>
Thank gawd, I was jonesing for some Pally HotS content 😁👍
I feel like your mana issues were one of the deciding factors in a few of those fights and possibly the game.
NO MENTION OF THE CRISPY TACO!!! But the nod to old friends.
Hey, Tyrael is the most balanced character at the moment!
It would be interesting if he had a trait/talent that made it that he gained mana back while he/allies were taking damage he gains abit of mana back, and it ramp up as more allies are around you taking damage. If it were tied to the use of a ability might make that abit more balanced.
I feel like if they tied some mana regen to his Regeneration Master talent that you took, it would solve Tyrael's mana problem.
I just started playing hots again been out for 3 years. Just curious what happened with your old play group?
Any chance you can have a reunion game with some of the old TGN peeps?
Why have they not changed his trait yet.

Pally is it possible to throw the sword, hearth and teleport back like samaro?
Tyrael makes me remember Hengest. Green means go!
I love watching Pally play Tyrael, but those mana issues...
When I first started playing the game I wanted tyreal to be good, but I couldn't stand the mana problems
I feel like Tyrael's mana issues are a weird synergy with his trait. If you think about it in a 5head way like me
Random comment for channel interaction.
I guess Tyrael is only playable with a Malfurion on the team.
Can we get a URF mode someday?
Greetings, mortal!
I miss the old TGN squadron ♥

Crispy taco time ;)
Ps. That trait though
Best part of tyraels kit is sanctification
pally with a full diablo team. and then ironically diablo on the opposing team
Pour one out for the crispy Taco boys
Oof. That always makes me sad to see and even more so to be apart of. Great abilities on tyrael.

Haven't watched the video yet but PLEASE someone go Falstad in this game, we need to see the Crunchy Taco once more!!
i see you like my old, 'butcher but worse' tyrael build.
Crispy taco?
Crispy Taco
A - Z part 77
Why does this game not have Grom Hellscream?
Because they decided to shove the patently inferior Garrosh into it instead.
lol that loss :D
NOICE!
The friendly team was pretty awful
Less than three

Just go home once in a while an don't stay in fight forever. The whole game looked like indefinite teamfight. Take your breaks in between.
Next you're gonna tell us to stay hydrated :P
