You know, I'm getting sad that we are nearing the end of the A through Z knowing that you will be taking a step back from this game. I have always enjoyed the educational value that you bring to HotS for every hero but what I'm going to miss the most is hearing you call your own games. Whether it's a good or frustrating game you have a way of making every video you do exciting with how you call all the plays. Looking forward to the rest of the series and I wish you luck as you branch out from HotS.
How come he is stepping back from the game? Did I miss a video where he talked about that? What's the reason, burnout or the state of the game, or both?
That beeping earlier is mostly from the graphics being sent out as an audio warning letting you know your graphics card is possibly on its last leg or defective. I had that happen on my new graphics card and had to send it in for the warranty. Recommend monitor your cards temp as well if the you get a black screen and can still hear audio from the computer the card has most likely failed and needs replacement.

i do recommend duelist tyrande build if you find yourself in certain circumstances. elune's chosen is very effective no mana means of healing, especially on waves if the enemy team lacks bursts or stuns the synergy between elunes chosen and darnassisan archery makes you public enemy number 1, where either the enemy has to kill you first to prevent you doing more damage than a butcher but at range plus healing or pulling away from the engagement entirely. the sheer amount of lane bullying you can do even after the duelist nerf to tyrande is ridiculous. you dont really need the ult to kill confirm cause of the 'shrink ray' so you can just use starfall to clear minion waves that build up to critical mass.
I stopped playing Blizz games a little while ago, but Tyrande was legit the character that got me to play the game. I did a little bit of the Alpha & Beta but seeing Tyrande- a character I was legit fascinated by; added in sealed her as my main. Seeing what they did to her in WoW is legit demoralizing. Hard to believe I used to have a 82.5% winrate on her at such a high level. She reminded me a lot of Mirana from Dota 2 with her skill shot. I think I just have a thing for moon-based characters lol
Also based on the symptoms, the freezes definitely seem to be local graphical or processor issues. The fact that the game kept running, sounds and all, even during the freeze, suggests as much. I had similar problems with my previous laptop when the hardware started showing signs of overheating or just getting old.
I'm 64-12-1 now following your builds. I actually won a game on this hero! She does feel very win more like you described in the video. I felt like I could help a team that was doing well win but couldn't pull a losing team out of a downturn. At least now I understand how to play this hero and don't hate doing it so there's that.
Since the sounds continued the FPS lock looks more like an issue with either your RAM or GPU ram. Might be worth checking your resource monitor the next time you play to see if either one shows a huge spike in activity
I tried learning Tyrande, because I got sick of the abaturs in everygame. Theoretically you can try to snipe abatur with your owl, but holy shit, tracking the position of the abatur on the map while also doing the healer duties might be the most multitasking I have ever done and I play fucking Starcraft.
I still love your heroes videos, pally! I look forward to these every week. Excellent work this game. I know you struggle on Tyrande, but you make it look easy!
One tip I would have for teammates of Tyrande is to leave the enemy walls alone. We can see Pally use them multiple times to heal people up, they are very useful.
Tyrande was the first character I tried to main, even though I had zero moba experience before that. Almost immediately dropped her for tracer, the high priestess was just too complicated for my baby gamer brain.
Pro tip: You want to dismount Tyrande at the beggining so you fire “welcome shot” and mount immediately. If you don t dismount you gotta wait 3 sec cooldown or walk on foot as you did on this video:) 3 secs might be good for early positionimg:)
A thing of the past: iirc, we would always first pick Tyrande in battlefield of eternity, which team that has Tyrande and either Valla or Greymane will pretty much guarantee to win the race pre-10.
I have some issues like this when I left the Onedrive running. Whenever I play HoTs, I have to stop Onedrive autoupdating, since it tries to update hots files.
I forgot they reworked Tyrande so many times. lol I like her current setup, even if she's really challenging to play well. I do think she could stand to give her some more attention, because like Pally said, there are some games where it feels like she just can't do much to help the team even if you're playing really well and pumping out tons of healing and stuns. I don't know if her numbers to be tweaked up some or what. I was sad though when they altered how the owl worked and nerfed owl build. That was one of my favorites, and while it still technically exists, it's functionally very different and not as satisfying to me.

The freeze gets longer the longer the computer is one and restarting my computer fixes the issue until it begins again. Would love a fix, it's annoying.
My wifi can have short gaps and those lags happen if i am playing hots. Sometimes anything asking for an update in the background does it too. Blizzard servers are not a fan and or in part a culprit

That looks like lag on your side your computer was probably doing something that was to much to do with heroes at the same time that you didn’t know at the time
The number of people that don't know to play Hammer like an angrier Raynor never ceases to depress me. Her stutter step is easier to manage than most, and it's a great intro to the concept for people with poor mechanics.
I live with these freezes fairly regularly; it’s due to interruptions in the network, packet loses, etc. It never used to be that bad for me but seems worse in the last year or so; it’s really turning me off the game.
The change from assassin to healer was one the worst choices for tyrande iirc it was because player were pressured into playing her as a healer. It think she will need a full rework into either an assassin with self heal or a healer with control a la brightwing

Her last rework was the most disappointing moment in the game for me, almost entirely killed my desire to play. I loved her E quest, the baseline owl quest, the super shrinking owl, all the auto attack damage stuff. It was so lame that they killed most of what made her fun just because some people wanted her to be more of a healer (which she isn't) or have more of an owl build (which is way, way overrated as a play style). Such a shame. She might have been the most fun character in the game back then.
I simply can't play Tyrande. She has a little of everything, but does nothing well. Even on ARAM where I can AA most of the game, her damage and healing are pitiful compared to the other healers. Her stun is so hard to land without someone else initiating first and both her Ults have long CDs with little effect.
Her stun is somewhat easy to land if the target is fleeing (6:29), turning a corner (6:43), etc. Also gets easier after 13 - Harsh Moonlight (HM): HM ==> LF ==> Mark ==> RIP. Starfall is quite simply *amazing* for wombos, general zoning, and cooldown reduction on Q. All that said, I kind of agree with Pally that she feels like a win-more hero.

I took the time and counted all the freezes, exactly 1 for every A-Z episode and that on a day like this!

Also misused the heal, not healing a different ally for the crit heal a couple times.
I def prefer viewer games. Kinda feels bad cause quickmatch is designed for a reason. But I feel 90% of my games just feel bad from quickmatch
