It’s so amazing to see an older couple that still enjoys each other’s company and both love the Lord.

I aspire to be the kind of mom that my adult child tears up every time someone speaks of me, what a beautiful thing to see Chad be so touched in being raised by, what I can only imagine, such an incredible woman! She left an amazing legacy behind, to outlive her and carry on. Wow. Your parents have been such a blessing to me! Marriage maximizer has been a game changer in my life, for anyone reading this who is considering this course, DO IT! It is worth every penny, ten times over!
I am so grateful to Katie and Elisha, and Chad and Jenise….thank you for being my mentors and role models

Ya'll I think I cried throughout this whole video! I Katie, you have the sweetest parents, what a blessing! Although I didn't grow up in a Christian home, my husband and I are raising our 5 little ones in the Lord, and it is such a joy! I pray to be godly example for them, and all my grandchildren one day. I love watching your videos, especially hearing your beautiful parents wisdom, and all their stories! May God bless you all.

I appreciated Chad and Janise sharing the lessons they’ve learned. They show humility and a willingness to learn. Hearing their priorities was really encouraging: God, marriage, family, health, using gifts for the kingdom. Katie had shared those in the past but hearing that her parents’ have stuck to those for so many years-wow. That shows great focus. Thanks for a great episode!

Wow this marriage, family, & faith are a beautiful dream that is a true story! I've never seen such faith and love in God in a couple and family. I've been praying for my husband to become a true believer who leads our family like these men do. Wow, if only I married a man who truly loves to serve and grow in the Lord, what a beautiful outcome would come from that. Watching you guys inspire me, yet also makes me sorrowful that I wasn't strong or wise in the Lord to know how to choose someone who truly loves and serves the Lord and wasn't just pretending.

I know what you mean, but we can pray for our husband to seek the Lord more earnestly. For example, I know my husband's believes in the Lord, and we attend church every Sunday, but I would love to see him seek the Lord and trust God more and seek his Will. No one is perfect and you married your husband for a reason just Love him and read the Word for yourself and pray for him and God will move

Hi from Slovakia, Europe. I love your parents, what they teach, what global impact they have! I feel God is teaching me and showing me things through them and you both, Katie+Elisha as well. Although I am Catholic married to Calvinist, I love how sharp you are in your opinions but you still can somehow share them elegantly ;) I learn what I missed being taught in my family. Praise the Lord ❤

Some regrets named in this episode:
    Not instituting weekly sabbaths earlier
Saying yes to more priorities outside of family in certain seasons (even when their children are getting older)
Some technology issues with kids - self-worth impacted
    Some extra important keys:
Serving as a family and having routines as a family are helpful and glue the family together
First decade of marriage was really hard
2 months of sickness - all kids sick at once
For adult kids: guide them through asking questions
You’re not done parenting just because your kids are grown
Intentionally planning to just SIT with your kids at times
Using your gifts and talents is a trap because everyone around you will seek to be blessed by them but you need to say no in order to love your kids well.

Soo goood!!! Many tears of heartfelt joy and encouragement for the desires the Lord has placed on my heart. Very grateful for ya''ll. May the Lord continue to bless you guys and your family. The Lord is just really teaching me that life is more joyful when it is lived with a generational mindset. A heart posture that is set on what can I give and pour out.

@@rudimbooher1842was chad exaggerating when he said he grew up in a cult? I have never heard him say that in other interviews on this channel. I am curious to know what belief system his parents were a part of when he was born (is he one of the older or younger of 8) and did their views change at the same time as Chad's? How neat that you are all so supportive of each other. I am a 1st generation homeschooler. My sisters and I hope to carry on and create a multi generational legacy with a 2nd and 3rd generation. One of my sister's good friends has a baby. He has 65+ cousins on one side and 50+ cousins on the other side. He will never lack for friends in life!
