@PCTR the NBA or any other league isn't refunding anything. It's not a realistic expectation. This is a business, man. And load management is almost impossible to prove. The team medical staff isn't going to tell the league "oh he's not really hurt". They're going to protect their investment.

    • @joeymanny

@@Andemur thats easy to prove, NBA will just put their own 3rd party medical party review, the penalty maybe delayed because the NBA doctors will review the findings if its correct or just a lie. This knee soreness, shoulder soreness becomes a trend for not playing but in reality they are fine, because theres no one checking these players for test results, they will just take day off and they become 100%, Soreness with negative result is OK to play

Exactly man. Barkley was talking about the same issue with these guys and he was spot on. Players used to fly coach between games. Players didn't have access to huge training staffs and modern conditioning/nutrition. You played unless there was something severe going on. Modern players are pampered and treated like kings from a young age. It starts with AAU. Players get huge money before they even have to prove anything. That mentality is ruining the NBA for a lot of fans

For all the ones who say the talent in the NBA is soo much better then previous generations, yet it's softer, players have better equipment, better medical treatment and on and on and players in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s got the crap beat out of them and played every night. And the NBAs way around it is just make a injury up, "wrist soreness" or "stubbed toe" or whatever. Kevin Durant would of gotten broken in half if he had to go against the 80s/90s pistons or going to the rim against Shaq or Hakeem.

@Lauriston Parris That's why I can't side with the owners because they chose to pay these guys the amount of money they are getting.

Hayward was an injury-prone, slightly above average player before he came to Charlotte, so Jordan can't be shocked that Hayward is still an injury-prone, slightly above-average player now.

If the FANS boycott for the first 20 games of the season and it is put out there that they are doing this because of load management, trust me that nonsense would stop in a hurry. Secondly you want to load manage ok cool, fine, no problem, but the games you load manage you won't be paid i bet you it would stop. Yes players will have genuine injuries it is a part of the game, but a healthy player sitting instead of doing his bloody job which he's being paid millions to do is just unacceptable. Stop coddling grown ass men full stop.

Yeah it was already disproved. That kid flies around to all the stadiums with similar signs trying to get memorabilia from all the star players. The Lebetard show talked about it already.
