    Thank you for providing this! I am just getting started with my first photobooth. I have subscribed and will continue to come back as you are answering a lot of the questions I am having as I am getting familiar with things.
    I currently am using a webcam and notice the program is running slow, I am going to purchase a dslr camera as I feel that may be the issue. Do you notice a huge difference in the programs performance when using the dslr camera vs the camera built in the screen? Also the rig you built for your photobooth is great!

    Love your channel and just subscribed. I am thinking to start a photbooth business so im doing some research about it. I see you're using DSRLbooth software so I wanna ask. Do you use DSRLbooth Professional or standard edition? which would you recommend (in terms of the features/functions) for starter like me? Thanks in Advance :)

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will need professional edition to use live view (so your guests can see themselves before the photo snaps). So get pro edition.
      Here’s another cool DSLR Botth video for you to check out.

    hi brother, thanks for these vids, please can you tell me, how much is a reasonable price for a photobooth for 4 hours?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, check your area and see their prices. If you are looking for more gigs keep your prices lower than your competitors. If you are looking for grade A clients keep your prices high and your gear and services top notch.
      Warning for low prices:
      If you have the lowest prices you will get customers that are not grade A. They are generally price fishing, like to waste your time, don’t have credit cards or money for deposits. But you will get lots of work with the lowest prices.

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey,
      On some of my older builds I used mini light holders. But now I use a baseplate light mount. Check it out on my latest video.

    what's your opinion on Ipad photobooths

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that iPad photo booths are finally ready for market because the newer models finally have a front facing camera that are decent enough to get print quality photos. If your thinking of doing one make sure the selfie camera on the iPad has a 7mp camera. I’m sure they will come out with better ones as time goes on but currently 7mp is the best they have.

    Hey lee,
    Thanks for video. Just wondering about the box. Where did you get the edging for the box. Looks professional. I just don't know what it is called in order to find it. Thanks. I am sure more questions to follow.

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Randy,
      The edging i used for the photo booth box is the corner edging that is used for drywall. I drilled holes every inch and put rivets in the holes. The black on the edging is spray on truck liner. This took me soooo many hours, hence why the booths I have since built are made of wood.

    • @randyhamilton6567
      @randyhamilton6567 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      that edging looks really cool. Sharp looking. I am going to start building one. Hope you will answer lots of questions. What size lenses is on the camera ?

    • @therentalguy

      Standard DSLR lens.

    Could you give me more specs like type of computer. Would you ever sell the Photo Booth maybe not all equipment in it. Because I would definitely buy one of those from you because I already have equipment just nothing to put it in.

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any computer works. Just make sure that it has at least an I5 processor and 4 gigs of ram. Nothing is for sale currently. Building a box is easy.

    What size lens do you find works best?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The lens that comes with the camera works best. On Canon cameras that is 18-22.
