    Quick questions if you don't mind
    1. I was looking at the slideshow feature under tools in Dslrbooth. I taken some test shots to see if it would work. It is a online url but it never works. I am still using the trial free version. Can you maybe explain or go over it? Thanks
    2. I am already at the price of $327 for a printer (Canon Selphy + Paper/ink) and Dslrbooth for $160. (And a background, not sure where to get 1)
    -I have a Dslr camera, Surface pro 4, and backdrop support system( bar for background)
    - I also would have to make the shell/box. I am not exactly sure but trying to follow your tutorials.
    -Do you have an estimate of the box price?
    -The Neewer light, is it realizable and worth it? I saw some not good reviews on Amazon
    -Do you have a U.S. link for the light?
    -Is it going to come a bit costly to finish getting some essentials (strobe, printer, box,etc)
    -
    -What is the cost that your small booth and medium booth cost to build?
    Thanks.

      Hey mike,
      I don’t use the slide show feature as my builds are simplified. However you may be referring to the online album that the pictures go to. It is a website called fotoshare. You will have to register.
      Regarding the monolight strobe I have no problems with newer lights. If your worried I suggest buying 2 for peace of mind. If you look up the newer light on eBay and adjust your search filter to a price between $40.00-$80.00 you will get better “Budget” search results.
      I’m not sure how costly your build will be as I get lots of items second hand or locally. I like to try to keep my builds under $1200.00CAD each. My small booth and my medium booth cost around the same amount to build as they both have the same is “guts” in them.
      Thanks for watching. I will be making more videos!

    Hey I’ve got a simple question and hope you get back to me!
    When building these booths, why not use a ring flash around the camera lense for a more compact design and less setup for the customer?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t tried the ring light and don’t know of any disadvantages of having it. It sounds like a good idea and smart to simplify things for the customer. We had a design with the RBA RL-400 but never actually built it. But yes it sounds like a win!

      @@therentalguy I appreciate the quick reply! I’m a 21 year old, with an entrepreneurial heart and after seeing a photo booth at a wedding I thought to myself “I can probably do that cheaper and undercut competition in my area” plus I love tech projects.
      Been loving your videos and ideas. I may be picking your brain I bit more throughout my journey! :)

    In the dslrbooth software do they include the fotoshare (uploading) feature included in it. Or is it extra which we need to buy seperatly?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fotoshare is included (limited free version with a dslr booth liscense). However you can subscribe to fotoshare to unlock features. I will make a video of this soon.

      Hey DJ KEVIE KEV.
      These videos are meant to be a loose DIY guide. I urge you to get items second hand to save money. This means that the general booth sizes will change depending on the size of the touchscreen and computer that you put in it.
      I can tell you that you don’t want to go any higher than 2ft high/2ftwide/12indeep (that’s the size of my white booths) so it can still fit into any car.

    • @therentalguy

      I urge to buy used. They are built strong. Any touchscreen will work (just make sure the on buttons aren’t on the front of the monitor so that it can fit inside the booth box).

    • @therentalguy

      You can use surface pros but regular surface tables just don’t have enough steam. Make sure that your device has a minimum I5 processor (which most surface pros have).

    How many inches should the monitor be? Does it matter?

    • @therentalguy
      @therentalguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have builds with 10.6in screen (surface pro 1/2), I have a builds with 13, 17 and 19 and 23 inch screens. I like them all except for the 23in screen. But people love that one. So it really didn’t matter.
