I'm amazed somebody actually took the time to make an orchestral MIDI of a song from a shit awful game and then spend the time to sync it up to video of an orchestra.
This awful game just happened to have good enough music that capcom copied it as their very first CORNERED~ music on phoenix wright, which became the heart and soul of the series and went unsurpassed until Level 5 was asked to make Pursuit~Casting Magic which took half the game's production time to finally get composed satisfactorily. They took this and never managed to best it on their own, and when they did, it took all of their efforts.
Sadly true, I'm still blaming the CEO tbh Back then game development was slower and to properly develop a SINGLE game which is good would had needed one month of work atleast but most NES games' developmnt time is somewhere between 2 months and 2 and half years... The company's CEO/Head wanted 'four' new programmers finish 52 games under three months... no amount of invested money and workforce could had saved Action 52 with a logic like that..
+nvgamer Your comment actually made me LOL. xD It is true! Many times I tried to find out who made the original; but I found nothing. Surely that person could come out and admit they made the music of Action 52, right? :| Did they compose anything else?
I've identified the footage. The conductor is Rafael Kubelik and the orchestra is the Czech Philharmonic. The location is the Smetana Hall at Prague's Municipal House, which I visited last January. The clips are from two performances, one of Mozart's 25th Piano Concerto, the other of Dvorak's New World Symphony.
***** It's true that Action 52 was a poop made game but the music is so catchy!! I like it very much, it is very good!! Thanks to this shitgame we have another very beutiful song that is Cornered of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. So, in a way, this crap was made for good.
I always thought of this song as a catchy tune, but after hearing this I just realised how legendary it is.Just imagine this rendition in a final boss battle.

For those who are shocked that this is such a good theme: remember, people can be passionate about what they do, even if their chosen media can't precisely represent the idea they have.
Just to clarify for a few people who seem confused, this isn't an actual Orchestra playing it. It's just made in a sound editing software, probably something like FL Studio. The video is just stock Orchestra footage.
+MiniMacro Studios Yeah a few random explosions in during the epic intro song with some awesome cheetamen running around kicking ass/blowing shit up, and there you go :D
Yep, it’s him dude! No joke, I’m subbed to him, and he actually created the entire game and action 52 as well, he also made a really cool remix of this song on his channel. He is technically a legend of gaming in my book!
In an alternate universe, Cheetahmen game is actually good. The song is so awesome a country decided to adopt it as their national song and the orchestra was done every year attended by leaders from all around the world.
To all the trolls calling this fake. I can confirm this is 100% real. I was there when they were performing this live in Prague. It was freakin awesome. My dad works at Nintendo.
This might just be the awesomest piece of symphonic music I've ever heard. It's kind of ironic that making this arrangement probably took more effort than the original Cheetahmen game.
no way nO WAY now all we need is a real orchestra to play this

We need a Cheetahmen for the consoles of the current generation. Make it a RPG and use this soundtrack as the battle theme. Oh lord... That'd be too awesome.
@nacritico Thank you so much for informing us that this is not, in fact, an actual professional orchestra playing the theme from an Action 52 game. I'm so glad you could clear that up for us.
I have the exact same issues with people hating on this video and people hating on Sean Schemmel's Dragon Soul variation. Who cares if it's fake? Does it sound awesome? If yes, your argument is invalid.

I wish MIDI could sound this cool, there are obviously some vst's in this masterpiece

QuintaFeira12 Wow... I just listened to that Phoenix Wright track... mind = blown.
QuintaFeira12 because the beginning sounds vaguely similar?
"Action 52 unfortunately spent 99.9% of their budget on having a live orchestra record the music for one of the 52 games."
This would explain a lot lol 😂
Sad part is more work was put into this song than the actual game.
Im pretty sure the audio was made on a PC, not on an real orchestra, but! What you said still true, probably.
Pedro Boh To be honest, the tune itself is not that bad. Just the game.

@@Magnus_Caramelo_55 someone slapped the cheetah man theme on top of the footage and played around with the footage to sync it up.
