Yes, to CRUNCHY peanut butter. Love it. And we use up our oats. All of 'em. Don't waste food, throw them into meatloaf, pancakes, atop cereal, crumbles, pie tops, bread, Brown some with butter, nuts, brown sugar, put on ice cream or eat as a snack. Adds texture and taste. 💖✝
I love crunchy peanut butter since I was little and still do!
As a senior my husband and I get a quarterly food allowance. When we first got it we struggled to use the money before the quarter was up. Now we struggle to stretch it. These meal ideas are great. I am seeing more and more seniors shopping in Dollar Tree.
I would love to see more like this! My grocery bill has doubled. I’m retired / disabled and on a fixed income and feeding my husband, son and mom. It’s getting so difficult.
Soups are great. Just found a zucchini soup that gets pureed. Great recipes on Pinterest. I've gone low carb so staying away from most of the middle of the store reduces food budget. Gardening. Fall you can still do lettuce rash carrots, still some herbs. Ice made bread cheaper than store.
I purchase alot of items on clearance. I use digital store coupons . The only two name brand items I buy are my salsa and cat food. I use manufacturer coupons for the food and litter.
I also purchase meat on Manager's special . And I make sure to have alot of vegetables with my meal.
There's also a nice youtube channel called "Dollar Tree Dinners." She did a 30-day series that was great because she assumed no starter/pantry items (except like salt/pepper) and shows how she uses leftovers, scraps, and batch items. It's no-frills cooking. And I don't mean to take away from Do It On A Dime in any way at all. I'm just trying to be helpful to you in your situation.

The majority of the jellies at DT are made with REAL SUGAR! Not that body destroying high fructose corn syrup. I only by jelly at DT.

Oh my goodness, I so agree! I work in the nonprofit world (guess why I avidly watch "Do it on a Dime!"), and I sometimes make treats for meetings. I'm also plotting to participate in a local county fair in September, and there is a requirement to use a plastic covering over a disposable plate for the show. This would be great to keep my entries safe but not stuck to a plastic wrap covering. Amazing!!!!
Oh my YES! I am a woman who eats crunchy PB only! I have a favorite - Peter Pan Crunchy Honey Roasted - and I have driven as far as 125 miles to get that specific crunchy PB when every single store around me sold out. Thankfully, it is now sold on Amazon and I buy it by the case! Crunchy peanut butter is LIFE!

GREAT IDEAS! I have 2 teenage boys who eat a lot! And YES, I love crunchy peanut butter! And of course I'm a woman. We have a place near us that sells over 130 different kinds/flavors of milkshakes. My favorite is chunky monkey: crunchy peanut butter, banana, and chocolate. When you finish the milkshake, use a spoon to eat the peanuts. I have seen Jim Kelly there and he ordered the same milkshake! YES please, more videos like this!

My mother only eat crunchy peanut butter. I was lucky because my dad worked for Kraft, so we had the chance to taste all of the tem and to this day she still eats the crunchy one :)
I love crunchy but, many years ago, my husband complained because he liked creamy. He was eating PB in his lunch most days so we switched.
Our daughter is allergic to dairy and gluten so I have been keeping a carton of shelf stable almond milk in our pantry for when she comes over. I also keep a caption of the whole milk for when we run out. What a blessing it has been because we have used it more than once

49 year old woman here and I LOVE CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER!! I toast Dave's Killer Bread ( or Aldi version when I can find it and it is very good too) and add the crunchy peanut butter and healthy fruit preserves. Tastes better than a fancy PBJ at any restaurant. So much flavor and texture and really fills you up. I eat it with some fruit if I am really hungry or if I make a half sandwich.
Lol I love crunchy peanut butter. I love crunchy anything. Nuts have to go in cookies and I like carrot cake with walnuts. I like pine nuts in salad or pecans. If something is sweet I like the nuts because it cuts the sweetness.

Wow cool meal ideas! I buy the mixed nuts and coconut oil. I toast the mixed nuts for about five minutes. Transfer into a bowl with a spoon of coconut oil. Toss the nuts with some salt pepper and cayenne! Hot nuts!! 😋 all form the dollar tree!! 🙌
so many preservatives in most of these meals, PLUS you have to watch expiration dates on Dollar Tree items. If you don't use it in a month, chances are you will be throwing it out

I’m a woman loving crunchy peanut butter. Yep! And I don’t drink milk, but use it occasionally. This milk actually was developed during WWII because it was so difficult to always have electric in the UK. I was. Hi g it in Walmart, but when I saw it at the $Tree I bought 6 of them. And, they stay longer in the fridge after they are open. Great buy. Also, if you are a camper, a good way to have milk camping.

When someone has to budget so strictly that they have to choose between Walmart and Dollar Tree, they aren't in a position to be particular. They can't afford to shop somewhere where the better version is $5 compared to the cheap version at $1.25. They're just putting food on the table.

I highly recommend investing in reusable/rubber and heat resistance air fryer inserts so easy to use and just clean after and can reuse again.
I love the pizza crust from DT. Easy, quick pizza when a craving kicks in. It also makes a yummy crispy garlic bread. I spread a thin layer of butter, sprinkle dry roasted garlic (or garlic powder), and sprinkle grated parmesan then bake 350° 8 mins. Keep an eye on it, as soon as the edges start to brown it's done. It's so delicious.😊
