I went to Kirklands and saw a beautiful Christmas artwork already framed for over 50 bucks. It was a picture of Santa on the train, the classic Christmas look. I had no idea Dollar Tree had that picture on a gift bag. I'm going to buy that bag and cut it, and use my own frame.
Love the idea of rolling socks and wrapping them in cellophane to create "candies!" I replicated this using colored loofahs to give with rose-scented bath salts. Looks almost as good as what you've done. ❤❤ Also, a PSA to anyone giving gift cards: if you can, please give them in person or use the emailed versions. I had a gift card ripped right out of the envelope that I sent via snail mail last year. I was so disappointed and frustrated! Save yourself the hassle!
I wish my Dollar Tree had even some of this stuff. They’re shelves are empty a lot and they don’t have enough people there to keep up with restocking. But I so appreciate your suggestions. They’re all cool. I’ve done a couple!
I always remember helping my mom make the Christmas cornflake cookies. Every year until High School when she passed away from Cancer when I was 16. But when my kids were little they always helped me make them it will always be a special tradition for years to come.

I have been dealing with a severe Crohn's flare this year along with preparing for a craniotomy that I finally had in September and now I am still in recovery mode for the craniotomy. I am so far behind in Christmas shopping and my budget is so tight because my portion of the surgery after talking to hospital billing office is $35,000 because of my insurance. So I really appreciate that you put this together. You and your husband (the cameraman) are appreciated more than you realize for going out and recording these videos. Thank you for helping people like me on a super tight income realize that we can have an affordable Christmas that looks good too.

That is crazy, those red cups that light up from the bottom. I got the same ones at Walmart last year paid 599 for my grandkids and this year. They’re at dollar tree! The boys love them.

The marshmallow and cornflake cookies are the main cookie of my house at Christmas since before I was born. Add marshmallow fluff to it when it's cooking to make it even better
I LOVE your enthusiasm and you always motivate me to clean my apartment! 😊So thank your for that and your effort to make these beautiful videos! 💕 But what I find really sad that in almost all American videos of these kinds the huge amount of packaging you are recommending to use.. I've stopped buying those bags years ago because when I get them from others they just sit in the corner until next year when I can reuse them again. Now I'm using those brown bags you get from to go meals (I just put around a ribbon or some other decorations and they look decent enough - they don't need to look so fancy because they are just a way of transporting the gifts). I also don't buy those tins because I had SO many until I reused them all by gifting cookies etc. to others and they just sat in the corner for a whole year. I also don't buy those boxes because... well, because nobody needs them (except maybe the bigger ones for storing Christmas decorations etc.). I try to choose only things people can use up: For example face masks, cookies/sweets etc. in recyclable bags, candles without containers, soaps etc. But since I don't think that unless you don't know them well or know what they want nobody will actually be happy ABOUT the gifts. I think it's the thought that counts. So I want to bake a cake (or a mini cake - depends on whether it's a sinlge person or a family etc.) and/or some cookies with Christmas Decoration on top of it this year for the people I don't know so well. Maybe I will also buy some vouchers for those I don't know what kind of allergies they might have. But as I said: Thank you for all the hard work you put into these really beautiful videos!

For my holiday rice krispie treats, I use rice krispies, of course, but then i add a box of Cap'n Crunch "Ooops" cereal to make the ornaments, and I use a Christmas tree cookie cutter to shape them. Thanks for all your hard work.
@ericdorvan6899 not intruding at all. I know things will get better, they always do, but this was just a really rough holiday. I lost my best friend about 6 weeks ago, I thought I was going to be evicted for someone else's mistake (I'm not), and I'm in constant physical pain from a back injury I received more than 12 years ago. Sometimes I just get a little overwhelmed. I am doing a little better now, especially knowing that I won't have to move, and I appreciate you listening.
Dollar tree has had such cute name tags and gift boxes. I’m seeing like 20 to a pack for the name tags. I feel like it’s target quality. I can’t stop buying stuff.

We decided to only do stockings with the family but this means I have to go back out and find gifts on a budget, mind you, a very tight budget. I put the uno go in my sons stocking last year, we keep it in the car so anytime we find ourselves waiting for long periods of time we play! Comes in handy during long sports events, car pick up lines, you name it!

I had head surgery not long ago, so I can sort of relate. Best wishes to you! You WILL recover ~ it just takes time.
