  • "So long as the bee is outside the petals of the flower and has not tasted the sweetness of the nectar within, it hovers round humming; but when it gets into the flower, it drinks the nectar noiselessly. So long as a man disputes about doctrines and dogmas, he has not tasted the nectar of true faith (bliss of Self-realization). Once he tastes that, he becomes silent." ~ Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

    There was a time when I thought I realized the true nature of self. I wore spirituality as a fashion and talked much of it. I finally realized how foolish I was, thinking I attained something.

    I use to be hell bent on debating. And if I lost a debate it would bother me for days, I realized it was all out of vanity. If we’re not trying to come to an understanding I no longer entertain the back and forth.

    I am a student and just few minutes a go i am arguing with my owner becz he didn't return my deposit and then arguing with teacher for his mistake in my result marks. But over all i didn't feel good after arguments with them , they both are wrong and i am right but i feel very frustrated, why people do this to me and they also don't take the responsibility for their doings. I want to punish them but i didn't. 😢

    Foolish. The act of debate is for truth alone, therefore all will benefit. The activity of debate, when on a mutual and respectful level, is an act of purification. The more one does it, the less they cleave to opinions, biases, familiarities, condition. Debate is very good thing for spiritual development. You realize soon that you never were any of those believes, and this act strengthens ones mind, discipline and willpower. Debate isn't about winning winning, but also can be for proving yourself wrong - ego doesn't try to prove itself wrong.

      The more you would engage in debate the more you would exhaust your time and energy and there would be greater a chance for you to get distracted from your original goal and there's no certanity that you would be able to know the truth.Your debating skill will surely get improved in the process but if you meditate everything will come to you one day;may be not in this life or several lives after but surely you'll know the truth. 😂

      Spiritual Practice and Chanting Gods Name is something which Many Saints recommend in this difficult era in which we are living. But Maybe they would also recommend that together with Spiritual Practice and Chanting Gods Name you can also get help from the doctors or psychotherapist, God will Help you also through them 🙏

    Ramakrishna was a tantric not a yogi. Although to be a tantric one needs to go through some yogic understanding but at some point derailment occurs and distinction between balance and imbalance becomes blurr. On the other hand a true yogi will never indulge in idol worship, she/he will search ultimate reality through the soul not through dolls, humans, or ant other way

      Your comment proves that you didn't read kathamrita. Hence you have no right to make comment about Ramkrishna. Your little mind can not comprehend what he is.

    • @shahidanfurqan
      @shahidanfurqan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@monadhar2682 do you understand what a substantial reply means? I never showed any disrespectful towards Ramakrishna but only pointed out that he was not a yogi instead he was a tantric. Like many words we take 'tantric' as something negative. It is due to negative representations of it in media and literature. There are two types of tantrics- one is malevolent and other is benevolent. A yogi does not meditate on statues, idols, images, people, animals, rocks, rivers, mountains, or anything else. She/he meditates only on the 'self'. It's in your Gita. Read and Vedas. Read it.
