So this is the guy that made a living for ten years taking Russian money. Interesting how people are so naive, or is it desperation🧐.

People are often naive, but in this case you (same as most "people") are just ignorant. Pomarentsev is not one of these who takes Kremlin's money and incentives to blow their propaganda horn (like so many talking heads for the last 2-10 years in US). He indeed made entertainment TV in Russia for 9 years, that's one of the main bases of his insight. Many entertainers worked in Russia, including Zelensky - but you can tell who they are by a simple distinction if they're welcome and safe there today.
He's Ukrainian, who went back to Ukraine after 2014 and 2022 to investigate and record Russian atrocities to counter their propaganda not to sweep them under the rug. He's a master in counterpropaganda from WW2 to this day, and one of the fewcwho really gets how this works globally and what can be done to not lose this hybrid-war.
I suggest a more personal interview on NPR org podcast "Fresh air" by mr. Terry with him from 14. March this year. Just search his name and it should be on Duckduckgo first page. It would be in everyone's interests to listen what he has to say, especially if you know where he comes from. Unless you've decided to side with autocracies against democracies for the rest of your life and prepared to pay the price.
