- Garrett Weaver from the On Point Podcast reviews the 2020 Bowtech RevoltX. This review includes shooting the Revolt X through a chronograph with a 458gr., 535gr. and a 640 grain arrow. The Bowtech RevoltX specs are also provided in the this review.
The bow is set at 60# 29" on comfort setting.

One of the best shooting bows of the 2020 lineup, in my experience. Incredible how much quieter that 600+ grain arrows is over the 450-ish one.
So, how to achieve the 340 FPS? More lighter more speed? Sorry my lack of knowledge.
350 grain arrow at 70 pounds and 30” of draw. Good question!
Garrett Weaver Hey, thanks for answer me. I have a suggestion for you. Pick up the most powerful bows you can get and do a FULL SPEED TEST of all of them! Just to see how true their IBO fps really are. One more thing, in this test you could also measure the energy impact of the arrows used. Thank you cheers

It’s cool you did the vid but I really don’t get the speed tests that aren’t 30/70/350 to at least get a baseline as it relates to IBO and how close the bow actually is to it.
I’d rather have real world hunting speeds. More guys shoot less than 30” as well. 29” seems to be very common for shooters.
Lots of guys do speed tests for IBO so I try to do heavier arrows for folks
Seems like it’s coming in at ~325 IBO or so. What’s the jump look like in performance setting?
Probably 5-6 FPS I'll have to check that out for ya.

66.15, 67.87, 67.55 those numbers should get the job done on most critters! The 60lb draw on comfort mode is a verry realistic bow for most shooters.
How would you compare this to the Realm X or SR6 (obviously losing some speed).
It's like a realm x. If you have a realm x and like it and tune it I'd save your money. if you don't have access to a bow press and want to tune this would be a better option. It's not as stiff as the SR6.
Good comment Garrett. Completely agree and I have a 2019 Realm X on the way for that reason. Next year SHOULD be the better year for Bowtech.... unless they release a Deadlock SR6 at the ATA. 😲

No Problem that's a great question!
It has a flip disc that changes the performance of the bow based off the shooters preference. So this was on the easier to shoot and more forgiving mode which isn't as fast.
What's the price on it
I believe they are 1100$

I know it's a year later, but I shot the Solution amd the SS the other day along with a Revolt. I ordered the Revolt X. SS was smooth but lighter so there is more hand shock. Same smooth draw, more hand shock so that's why I got a Revolt X.

@@survivalist9818 If I didn't order a Bowtech I'd probably go with Mathews. Bowtech is just so smooth plus it can be tuned and adjusted with no press. The Mathews is very adjustable but requires a press.
