This gate motor installation was conducted on 13 November 2024.
1st. The site was inspected, where and what was needed in order to perform the Centurion gate motor installation.
2nd. The concrete platform was cut off to assist in the installation of a steel base plate. A Hole is also cut in the steel platform which allowed the electrical supply cable to fit through. The steel platform was then welded into position and secured down completely with the needed steel round bar which are 12mm thick.
3rd. The Centurion Smart gate motor steel base plate was fitted with the Centurion anti theft bracket ears which are bolted on the inside of the gate motor base along with the gate motor steel base plate.
4th. The complete gate motor system was then test fitted into position, which allowed for the gate motor steel base plate to be spot welded into position.
5th. The gate motor specifications were checked and found to be right, this allowed one to weld the gate motor steel base plate down completely.
The gate motor was then secured with all of its supplied steel bolts.
6th. The steel rack was then welded into position, according to factory specifications. The steel rack was also supported with steel brackets on the ends.
7th. The gate motor electrical wires were set in a trench which was dug out. The electrical wires were then connected, the gate motor battery was connected and double checked for correctness. The battery charging voltage was checked and found to be too low, to fully charge the battery. The battery charging voltage was set to 13.74 volts dc which is perfect for a lead acid gate motor battery
8th. The gate motor limits were set by using the Mycentsys pro app.
9th. The client was informed, what to do, and how to do things via the Mycentsys app. The site was handed over to the client.
