You should have put your sticker on that second unit and hooked it back up. That way they would know who to sue when it went flying off the roof next hurricane. But seriously if you do the fan on the first job id probability do a new cap also. That one looked like it was about to let loose. Good vid

Great visual inspection 🧐 if there is a unit in need of a replacement the last unit is well in DONE zone , the county inspector will let the owner know it’s a no go just as you brother great video
That United Laboratories placard you saw for is to indicate the unit was listed as certifiably meeting test criteria of the Underwriter's Laboratories ("U/L Listed"). I never knew U/L to actually make products, just verify their safety performance. I checked the Wikipedia entry and it has no mention of manufacturing operations, just standards development and product testing. Manufacturers put on these labels to indicate the product is safe. Some safety codes might even require such things. U/L began with electrical standards, so from extension cords to vacuums, pretty much everything electrical used to be U/L listed. Take a look at a light socket. You'll probably see a label there, too, unless U/L is no longer the big deal it once was. Other countries such as Germany had an equivalent, I believe, so there products might have some other label.
The motor may be okay. Id just put it back together, and let it run the bearings may loosen up. Also do you have to put an original carrrer motor in? Id use an emerson rescue motor much cheaper than oem.
Funny thing is, I bumped it with it out of the unit upside down and it ran. But when I put it back, it wouldn’t run. I like to go back OEM when ever possible.
The second one, just to repair it would require a new case for the condenser just to reconnect it. It's done!
Yea she was pretty bad.
Good job buddy
Thanks!
Wise Decision on that last job 👍 you can't please everyone and at the end of the day you have to cover yourself...Great videos by the way keep at it 😃

It is definitely a Carrier. Only Carrier used the trade name Puron.👍🇨🇦
