Both of these M7's seem like nice units for the buck, but the wifi/BT issues make me wonder what's going on? Either it's just this unit (it seems strange to me that it's so much worse than the M7) or they've got a bigger problem. Even if one isn't planning on using wifi for this, it leaves a bad taste that it's that bad.
@@Robtech I'm waiting for one of the major components of my CPU to cark it, coz a high performance MINI PC will replace my desktop..would like one with a high performance APU similar to the current Strix Halo 40CU one but in the future we'll get powerfull ones hopefully on par with the RX 6800
They probably know I wouldn't wear it even if they did give it to me. The less advertising on this channel the better. Sponsored videos have now mostly been killed off. Hoping one day to have no pre-roll ads too 😄
$460 for a complete system, not $500 (bad way to start) and might be time to revisit the definition of value www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/value. Also, I bought almost every item for review in my first two years on TH-cam, but never let the truth get in the way of ignorance.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction….i want a mini gaming pc so I can play fallout London which is a mod for fallout 4 ….without breaking the bank and I don’t need top of the line
Haven't tried Fallout London, but this is the value option gaming mini at this price and meets the system requirements for that game. For a much more powerful gaming experience yet still good value, there's the Minisforum HX99G which I've also reviewed.
Gmktec has poor quality and very poor customer service. Wont last long. Disposable. Better buy from reputable vendors even if more expensive plus they have good warranties unless you think its worth risking your hard earned money.

As an Oculink user with the Minisforum UM780 XTX I like that they don't take up a m.2 slot for that connection. Nice Rob, Thank you

It looks good. You know what would make it even better? The cover being orange color.
Thanks for the review.
Sup Rob, regarding eGPUs on AMD mini PCs hows it go if you were to pair it with RX 6800 GPU as external??
Should be a nice combo. Getting RTX 3070 level performance (minus the interface bandwidth penalty) with most games at 1440P high detail.

I really want to upgrade mi pc and do some retro gaming, do you have a video on the ryzen 7 5825u?
No, closest is 5700U in the charts.
@@Robtechthanks bro
I feel like every few weeks I have a new mini I'd buy if I was looking to get one. I would like to see 32GB 2TB since 64 seems overkill and pricey.
There's 32GB 2TB option on Amazon.com if you're in the US. I've added it to the video description. Should be $499 during upcoming Prime sales.
How does this compare to K8 pro I wonder.. hmm
Well I can read the charts :D

500.00 USD is a "value" pc for you? it's so easy to talk when the manufacturer gives the device for free, so you can be a mouthpiece for them

New but still running the 680m.... I will no longer purchase anything less than a 780m, its too long in the tooth now.

@@Robtech ok I will definitely check that out and thank you for your response
40. Won’t be such great value when it crashes all the time and you can’t get a refund or replacement. Don’t buy Gmktec.

Apart from Beelink, who else is a reputable vendor?
