The shift, control, alt and f2 is not working for me. Is there another option? Edit: I found out that function keys need to be enabled first before restarting and booting into bios. Fn + ESC, then restart and hold DEL. Now alt, ctrl, shift, f2 works
Nice tip = ) it maybe it will help others that wasn't able to access the bios before , thanks for watching, please subscribe and share the videos 😁 Soon I'll bring more videos in English
no worries! I’ve also noticed that if I have my charger plugged in when turning off the computer, taking out the power and plugging it back in does not trigger the laptop to turn on. Do you know a way to fix this?
You just literally saved me hundreds of dollars. I almost bought a docking station thinking I could use that as my on/off switch but this is a lot easier. And works!! Tip for others, I’m using gs76 and it takes a few seconds to power up once the plug is in.
the combination doesn't work with my katana gf76, even if it seems that the bios is identical, I have the German version keyboard, does something change maybe? I hope you can help me
Hi for that I saw this should be the standard for the laptops, I've learned this in a redit post and the keyboard of that post was an English US one and on another model of msi laptop, one thing that you could check is if the default function of the F row key is set to be the F keys or set to the functions key, cause if is set to be the functions you are pressing volume down instead of F2, I don't know if this apply also when we are at the bios, but could be the case. thanks for watching, please subscribe and share the videos 😁
Any special display settings that would make this not work? I followed the tutorial exactly and it seems like it's still not working. I have a MSI GE75 Raider
For that I know the only thing that could be a problem is in Windows the setting of hibernating the machine when it is closed, usually, I set this to do nothing so the laptop stays on just with the display off, besides that nothing comes to my mind. thanks for watching, please subscribe and share the videos Soon I'll bring more videos in English
@MMFullPlace How about the way you turn it off? Should I have my charger completely disconnected before I shut down the computer? Thanks for all the help!
