Hello, I saw you over on Learner To Learner, so I made my way here. I have had my RCV for a day now. I teach online. So far I love this thing. It is exactly what I have been waiting for. I am not a fan of subscriptions unless I use them a lot or I make money from it. I can't justify Ecamm so this thing gets the job done for me. Simple picture in picture is all I need. The overlays are for lower thirds and things like that but I don't think they animate. Just static images. I do wish, I had'nt purchased a RODECaster Duo since this does the same thing (except for the physical faders). And I probably should have waited till you returned your RCV so I could have picked up a used at B&H and save a few bucks. LOL!! If you have the ATEM Mini ISO Extreme, and you are comfortable with it and you use Ecamm. I don't see how this will help you. I have an ATEM mini Pro but not the ISO. If I had the ISO version I probably would have skipped making the purchase.

It’s still a good device for basic switching needs. If you’re not using any of the other features too much it’s good. I still think it’s over priced, but if you want the all in one unit, this is it. I wouldn’t recommend it for churches though.

@@JJSCTech Yeah, In other videos, others gave a few reasons why this wouldn't work in a church environment over the ATEM Mini Pro ISO or Extreme ISO. And I'm sure I would prefer something like Ecamm Live but I avoid subscriptions unless it's making me money or if I'm using something a lot. I agree that it is pricey, but but well worth the financial stretch for me. Fingers crossed that I will still be using it in 5 years.
