Thank you very much for this vídeo! I've been in Hollyhock 20 years ago. It took me 24 hours flying to get there because I am from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. It is a very long trip for me
But I wish to go back one day. I just love ths place. It' s good to see it now

This video brought me right back to Hollyhock! The beauty takes your breath away and the stillness opens your heart. The meditation retreats I have attended with Steven and Michele have been life changing. I have learned how to bring Metta, Compassion, Empathetic Joy and Equanimity into my meditation practice. I wasn't able to go this year due to covid but hope to return to Cortes Island in the future. Thanks for sharing it.

I have only been to Hollyhock the once on a retreat along with you and with Steven as the leader. It was lovely and I remember doing Tai chi on the lawn. Steven asked me about it and I told him it was very peaceful. Thank you for taking us there virtually.

Having been to Hollyhock many times this was a wonderful experience of reminiscing. It is so beautiful. I also loved hearing the rain hitting the car while boarding the ferries. Hollyhock offer many retreats so check out their website in the description below.

Thanks for taking me back to Hollyhock! I think that's where we first met. Auspicious.
I was also there on 9/11--and appreciated again how removed it is from the rest of the world--it took 5 days to get home to MA. Not surprising now that I have done part of that journey today with you.
Hollyhock is one of the great dharma refuges of the West--may it continue to thrive! thanks so much.

Yes, that is where we met. I was delighted to be in your presence (yes, I noted delight). That seems like a very long time ago.

Cortes is a great place as far as I'm concerned. So you're going to be there this Fall? Maybe I should make a trip up from Oregon then...😜

You introduced me to Hollyhock, and I was lucky enough to be able to attend two retreats with Steven and Michelle. At the end of my first retreat I didn’t think I had gone through any changes except for releasing all my prior stress. And then came the rude awakening traveling home. Our world is a very noisy place, and it’s people are in a hurry most of the time. Your vlog brought me back to a very special place with very fond memories…
