I grew up spending a few weeks each summer on Savary Island. My Grandpa helped build the runway and used to fly us in to this little island paradise where he lived year round. It was magical. This was 30 years ago. Great memories. Very grateful for the experiences.

Where do they get fresh water from? The island seems a bit small to have a source of its own.
Ground water! And they make their own energy with solar and generators.

Most cabins have their own water pump with the exception of one section of 30-40 cabins that are part of water district.
