When I'm around my grandchildren, I'm always impressed by how the smallest things make them happy. So I try my best to see things through their eyes. It helps to appreciate what as adults, we take for granted. Teaching them to look through the telescope has been one of those awe moments for me. I thought they were enjoying seeing up close what they already knew was there. But they picked up on so much more. The colors, the vastness of it all, the experience, the surroundings, the everything that it took to get to that moment. They ask for more because its fascinating. Now I feel the same way. These moments are awe moments.
I never thought about Awe before, but after watching this it made me remember all those moments and how you feel so small but in the best way. It really puts life and small worries into perspective looking at something bigger than yourself. Thank you Max for showing us what happiness is ❤

I have become a big fan of your work since I saw you in Jack Conte's show. I really love your work on happiness and especially your editing style is unparalleled.
Every time I recommend your work to someone (which I have done quite often now) I have to laugh - because living in Munich, Germany you have a whole different association with Max Joseph: He was the first king of Bavaria. Called "Max the first Joseph". If you're ever in Munich - you have to take a picture with his statue (and meet me, maybe 😅)
PS: you should come visit during the Oktoberfest (it’s in September of course). Should be a great time to talk to people about perceived happiness.

Adele Shows in a row, starting this week, or 40.000 people watching the Taylor Swift concert from the Olympic Hill outside the stadium for free last weekend)
