Description: Paddling Larch Creek from Larch Lake upstream to the BWCA Entry Point 80 landing near the Gunflint Trail. The distance is about 1.6-miles. There were nine small beaver dam lift overs in the last mile of the creek before reaching the landing. The upper part of the creek is pea green (likely algae bloom?). This color fades away the closer you get to Larch Lake. Water levels were low as is typically for the time of year. This is in the BWCA.
