Indeed! I just hope that they'll know the context( i.e. that they've watched the LOTR movie trilogy or know of the books) so that they could get the references. But yeah - it makes me laugh inside every time with its cleverly written rhymes. :)

Put it this way, if you can imagine that someone might not be amused by Sam Kinison style screaming, "Read the effin books!!" the first time he 'sang' it, how do you think they'd like it by the tenth? Hint - it's Ramsey Bolton level torture. Obviously many here love it, but as you say, different tastes.
