From 2008-10 Elvis Costello had a great Show on british Tv called “spectacle”. During the show he had extended interviews with artists he appreciated and also jammed together with them. Bruce was the guest on his last show and it was great. Some other guests he had included Elton John, U2, sting, Levon Helm etc. I’m sure full episodes of the show can be found on the internet.

Yes, that's the great Nils Lofgren (the Godfather on the guitar) from the legendary E-STREET-BAND 🎸🎸

1977 Elvis released the great Radio,Radio about his frustration with the recoed industry (he got banned from SNL for playing it live). Bruce released Radio Nowhere in 2007 about his frustration with today's radio scene...

You really nailed it with the review-
Elvis C wrote "radio soul" in 1974-5 and didn't release it- if you hear it- he plays it a bit more later in career - it could have been on Springsteen's 1975 Born to Run album and sounded like it was meant to be there - that was his "rip off".
He then reworked the music and used some of the lyrics in 1977 to release "Radio Radio" to make it sound more appropriate for late 70s punk UK radio
Bruce then completed the circle in 2007 with Radio Nowhere.
Agree with the other poster who recommends finding Spectacle:Elvis Costello interviews- they are worth a musicians time to watch
    Thanks for the request JFK

"For the most part everyone is cool about it." ...Except the record labels.

It's rock and roll attitude, the great musicians understand it and no problem. Nils forever 🙌

Actually Elvis's song is about 25 years older than Bruce's.

this was actually a later period Bruce song - Elvis was just copping to ripping off his style.

close, it's Nils, not Niles, it's a Swedish thing, (via Chicago). He's unique being left handed playing guitar with the right hand, why he thumb picks, it's how he learned to play. Also onstage Roy (the Professor) Bittan!!

Great performance by both legends. But if there's a "rip off" anywhere, it's Bruce stealing the main riff from 867-5309. Anyone agree?
Also there a killer version of Seeds at this show. Highly recommended!
