White Pass & Yukon Route Railway - CNRR

I happened to be in Skagway, Alaska, and got a chance to railfan a bit with just my phone camera. This narrow-gauge railway is still active after nearly 125 years of service. Passengers from the cruise ships can board it very close to their ships, however, due to landslides, they cannot use the connecting pier adjacent to the tracks, but must take a small tugboat to land. Rubble was still covering a section of track just behind this train.

It's beautiful for sure, Steve! Yeah, a WP van came up and shooed me away just as I got the last shot. Don't blame them as I was on rr property between the rails and a storage shed.
