    Keeping on praying away the gay and forcing squares through circles, because that hasn't led to thousands of suicides, discrimination, or stigma in the past.

    Respectfully, why are you commenters here in favour of “gender transitioning” in support of this? What do you feel is the actual cause of this epidemic? Why do you feel that those of us recognizing what’s going in “hate those struggling”?

    • @jude8067
      @jude8067 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think you necessarily hate anyone, but I do think that just because some kids are 'confused' doesn't mean that trans people don't exist. It's like saying depression doesn't actually happen because most people can eventually move past it, but for some it's a lifelong struggle

    I don’t agree with this lady. I’m Christian, transgender person (trance masculine), and I came out when I was 43 and was married for 20years to my husband (which I was not attracted too men from the start), we tried and worked very hard to be happy and was proactive and we prayed a lot. I had no abuse in my childhood. And I haven’t walked out on my child!!!! I have developed PTSD and anxiety as a result of my body being put under the constant stress trying to be other than I am and also the added pressure of caring for my child with disabilities. After many years the symptoms started showing and I struggled to hide it. And yes I have the Holy Spirit helping me but I still went through it. My anxiety is becoming better now since admitting I am trance, but I trust Jesus has it all in His hands. Please don’t judge what you don’t know! Here in the UK they don’t just rush kids into surgery you have to be 16 to start the process of actual physical transitioning. And you will then go through normal puberty depending on the gender your transitioning too. When I was a kid I transitioned physically into my birth sex but my mind never did and just so much didn’t make any sense. When I came out for the first time at 43, I started to feel like a teenager 20years later, and the feelings I felt made sense for the first time in my brain. I haven’t started transitioning yet, don’t know if I can health wise. But dressing and looking as close too how I feel has made a massive difference for me and no I’m not yet on hormones either. No I don’t “pass” but some things are better.

    So, Bridge City News, why exactly are you giving a voice to people who support and promote practices that amount to child abuse? By giving these people a voice you are taking a part in this.

    This video brings up an important point about needing to figure out how the child is really feeling, because lots of people are now realizing that they never were trans- they might've had trauma or been gay or lesbian but thought that being straight as a transperson would be easier
    On the OTHER HAND this Dr. is a TERF and it's disgusting, it's not a lifestyle it's just as much who someone is as all of you cis and straight people who have been blessed to not be questioned or chided about who you are.

      A phobia is an irrational fear. There are many who are concerned about how promoting confusion to children will affect them (short term and long term), but this concern is not irrational. It's a legitimate concern.

      Giving parents the information to know how to help their kid through this change? She hasn’t given any helpful information at all. All she’s done is spouted off her own transphobic personal beliefs. Anyone who follows her “advice” is going to end up with a dead child on their hands.

      @@KimSiever You're right, suicide is a real threat, but promoting confusion is not the answer to solve this problem. In fact the suicide rate among those who transition is no lower than those who don't transition. The hope that everything will be well once the transition is complete is only a mirage, or hoax. Therefore the result, that only perpetuates the confusion, is extremely disappointing for those who place their hopes and dreams in it, and often this leads to suicide.

    • @KimSiever
      @KimSiever 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First, not all trans people desire to transition. Second, it’s just not true that the suicide rate is unaffected by transitioning.

    I could contradict a lot what she says I came out at 38. I should’ve come out at five started HRT at 16 and got my surgery in early 20s. I didn’t get surgery until I was 49 and went through hell from 38 to 49 I knew at five I was a girl just didn’t know what it meant. I was drawn to girl things that’s where I felt comfortable

    We are conceived by the love of our parents. As a new and unique combined individual. We adopt a sex based persona in the conscious ego. There, as a male, we proceed to suppress our female counterpart to the subconscious mind. There she can only push her unhappy neglected feeling state symbolically into the conscious mind. It is expressed there, to the conscious male ego, as a distinct need to become female. This is the source of subjective GD pain in the MTF TG person.
    GD is subjective pain and it demands resolution. There are 2 methods for resolution.
    A. Force the body to comply i.e SRS and HRT and destroy the male body then take what's left and try to be a female.
    B. Endure GD until it forces the mind to leave the male persona in the past. And then to self actualize as a female for a future using the male body as it's host.
