Bucket Cam!! Nice view on loading the haul truck. It’s really interesting how you plan moving dirt in so many stages like moving dirt to get it out of the way, moving dirt to make a ramp, moving dirt to take out the old pipe, moving dirt to pack around the new pipe, always being as efficient as possible, and the beautiful results don’t show all the planning that was needed. Your videos do.

You are fortunate to be able to get help on demand when you don’t need extra operators all that often. Up here in BC Canada anyone who can and wants to work has more than they can handle.

It never fails to amaze me, how the project looks so hopeless, like a dog chasing it's tail, and then... POW!!! One day and it pops and all starts coing together.

And it helps me get insight in to what he does daily on his jobs. Notice you do not have scrapers. I had to follow my husband as he took one to a job 35 miles away. Kinda hard watching you load Barney and watch the skid steer at the same time, and that's because every bit of your videos are informative, by the time the skid had spread the dirt, you were there with another load. Time management quality.
How many of us old armchair operators wish they were down there to work with Chris on this project? Most of us do I bet!

Your attention to doing things right is amazing, and the loading view from the bucket thumb was fun!
Whenever Chris jumps into another machine, it reminds me of the Terminator movies. You see his brain run through 6-8 different gear/control patterns like Arnie with the Harley or the semi. That is one big overflow assembly & a lot of work installing it (properly)! With what you've done with the shoreline, the head section & now the overflow, you're getting closer to the end. Not there yet & that's good because that means 2-3 more videos, yeah!

It is coming together well. I enjoy watching all the different aspects that go into building a dam and install of the overflow. I enjoy watching equipment work on the job and learn a lot.

Like I said at the beginning of this. I can't believe I am this caught up in watching a random guy play in the mud... I am amazed at the transformation...
That compactor on the mini does a surprisingly good job. As you bought it I can’t see the use of the “toy“ but in tight spaces or when the weight of the roller is simply too much it pays.
Another great job Chris. Liked the view of bucket loading Barney. Never looks that high from the ground. Take us to lunch with you one day.

Looks like the pond is gonna be at least 12 feet or so deep there at the overflow. Really don't get an idea until you have all 3 boxes stacked and you look down into it. Gonna be a great pond.
