One thing you can do to save time is precut all your peppers. I have bags of onions and peppers all ready to go in my freezer all the time. Makes throwing these meals together a breeze!
I love how you are with your children and let them help. Just such freshness...it's obvious the Lord is in your life. I've been binge watching your videos for a few days now!
Hi girl! Thanks for making it look so easy. You're a lifesaver! I work 7 nightshifts in a row and then the next week I am off and so on. When I get home after my nightshift I turn on the slowcooker and go to bed. When I wake up, dinner is ready! I love your recepies, I add on what I like etc. I am from Holland, the Netherlands and sometimes I just have to laugh. Your tomato paste cans for example. You say it's the small can. Here in my country that is the biggest 😂 some things we can't get here, but because of you I am not afraid to try my own thing. Thanks a lot! You're the best!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I sometimes have up to 3 crockpots going at once. 1 with meat and the other two with sides. I always use the bags for easy clean up. I really enjoy your videos. You are always so soft spoken and you seem to have remarkable patience with your family and life in general. God bless!
Just a little hint to help with cutting bell peppers....slice them with the skin side down. It's easier to get thru the inside membrane first and cuts right thru the skin.
I also taught my two children how to cook from the time they could help they did now they are grown adults and they cook all the time great skills for all kids to learn. keep up the good work.
Finally trying this recipe! Tweaked it a bit to use what we had on hand. It's not done yet, but our house already smells like fajita paradise! Now I just have to make the tortillas.... Can't wait to eat it tonight-YUM! Thanks for sharing, blessings to you and yours!!
A great large family quick and cheap meal we enjoy occasionally here in Nova Scotia Canada is seasoned ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder , macaroni or spaghetti pasta cook to desired texture and add tomato soup(as many cans as necessary , serve and top with shredded cheese ,we eat it with garlic bread or a side salad , :) very yummy, very cheap and one of my children's favourites :)
I make fajitas regularly. I cook chicken breast, sliced russet potatoes, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers and cook it on medium heat on the stove. I then boil white rice and throw in some salsa. Its my version of stretching our food and tastes great! XoXo from New Mexico!
I really like the easy meal to make! I have a big family as well so this will be perfect for us! Thank you for sharing and love your videos and family! I just recently started homeschooling this school year and you have really helped me out a lot!! Thank you so much God bless you and your family!!!
you can use a chuck roast and make them the same way on your slow cooker and have beef fajitas. they are just as yummy. I buy roasts when I find them on sale for the freezer. my hubby is not especially fond of chicken. he will eat it occasionally but much prefers beef.
Just came across this video. I'm watching this Dec 2019, can't believe how young Amelia, Naomi and Liam are, you have a gorgeous family Jamerill, the food is good too x
We used beef and was awesome. Thank you for the recipe idea! We drained our broth and cooked our rice in it for extra flavor on the side dish! Love your channel.
Looks yum! I do a version of crock pot burritos. I just use a bag of chicken thighs and two bags of frozen spanish rice. I add chopped onion and bell pepper, salt, pepper, and chili seasoning. On high about four hours. Then serve on large flour tortillas, topped with grated cheese.
Just came here to say I tried this and my husband and I really liked it!! I cut the recipe in half and I didn't have all of the spice you did so instead I used one of those fajita seasoning packets. I also didn't add the tomato paste. I am also embarrassed to say but also excited this is the first time I ever bought/used peppers in my adult life. So thanks!! :)
Also I cut up the chicken before adding it and I don't add the peppers until the last hour to keep the peppers crispy and before that I take out some of the cooking liquid and I add more peppers than that I also add a chicken bullion to add to the flavor and pepper flakes just a touch
Costco has great inexpensive knives 😉 they are the ones with the white handles... I used to chop my veggies like you... Now it doesn't take much effort on my part. I'm so glad I made that purchase
Jamerrill looks great!! Lol, you cracked me up when you said you were going to do the hard part and put the lid on. Amelia is just a darlin, and so is Liam, you have such a precious family. You are sooo pretty!!
I had 6 children , my quick no time meals where often made with chicken stock , celery , onion, garlic , chicken (I do not like breast tbh ) sour cream in a slow cooker all day and a rice cooker with rice and peas in , I chop celery and sweet bell peppers in advance and freeze them , oh and you can make this with tuna or turkey or any mild meats , I season how I like it , so if its left over chicken I do not use the slow cooker because then the whole meal takes only 15 minutes , 20 for the rice , I put it on first , or rather did , lol my children are married and have their own
instead of the tomato paste I chop several tomatoes if I have them. more vegetables for the hubby and I and good use when I have alot of them from the garden when I need to use them up. i especially like using the cherry or grape tomatoes as we always have so many and those I throw in whole. I also buy bags of frozen peppers and onions. I find it cheaper than buying the fresh pepper. The peppers and onions are .99 a bag. I use 2 bags which would equal 3-4 peppers and several onions. It just works out cheaper that way.
1st time watching you.. Great job..Love the slow cooker meals... we are a family of 5 and busy Love to see more recipes for the crock pot and kid friendly!!!Thanks for sharing
omg your daughter is so cute. & so smart i didn't think she would understand when you said, "how many peppers can mommy cut at a time." LOL! so cute when she responded XD
Love this meal idea! I have seen this floating around Pinterest for some time but haven't tried it yet. I need to put this in my meal rotation. Thanks for the video! Keep them coming😊
Hi Lovely Lady, I love your Vids gives me hope. Quick tip for cutting the Bell Peppers (Capsicum) cut them from the inside once in half makes it a lot easier as you don't need to push though the skin :)
Do you ever have leftovers or do you guys usually finish everything? Love watching your cooking videos, we are going from 3 to 5 kids, we are having twins! Can you upload more crock pot recipes? :)
I love the Kirkland canola oil spray but my Costco no longer have it. Love your vlogs I get so many ideas from you. Thank you for sharing take care and god bless xx
Interesting recipe I never thought to put fajita fixin's in the crockpot. I usually cook mine in a big cast iron skillet and serve with homemade tortillas. Also I make a veggie verison with chayote. It would probably be a great meal for your trim healthy mama plan.
You Always seem so calm. I really admire that. I have a 21month old daughter and a almost 7 month old baby boy and I really need to count to ten and breaaaaathe thousand times a day. Do you have any advise on how to not burn out on being a stay at home mom? (I'm blessed to live in a country with one whole year paid maternity leave for each child, and I did not end my first leave before my son was born) I love having both kids with me all day, but boy oh boy is it hard some days, and really hard in the afternoons
Fajita Question- I'm going to have "Fiesta Mondays", with a different main dish each Mon. The Fiesta will include Chic and Beef Fajitas, Refried Beans and Spanish Rice to each Mon. Now I don't want to have Taco seasoning in my Burritos, Chimichangas, Tacos, Enchiladas AND my Fajitas. I just don't want it all to have the same flavor. Any ideas?
This is so fun, seeing your kitchen back in the day. I am a new fan, just a few weeks following. And is that pretty baby Amelia? She's like 10 now! Love seeing this. You are such a great Momma. God's blessing on you all!
Turn your veggies/fruit over so you go through the soft flesh first and then it will go through the skin easier, since you are already sliding the knife in.
Hello dear! Fast question for you from a new slow cooker mama here lol If I wanted to make the wraps, can I place them in freezer bags and pull them out later to reheat?
My slow cooker worlds greatest ( that’s what my family says) chuck roast or two, two bottles of Heinz chili sauce ( one bottle for one roast, two for two.) layer vidialas all along the bottom of the slow cooker, roasts on top then sauce and that’s IT! This is so delicious that people think there’s some secret ingredients in it, you must try this, I promise you will love it. Let me know how it went!

Stephen N. Kelly Awesome tip!
Great idea!

My husband orders this every time we go to a Mexican restaurant. I'll surprise him with this at home someday. This looks easy and yummy!

if you open both ends of tomato paste you can push it out of the can much easier and no waste
:O

Blessings to you and your wonderful family.
Clean the chicken before you cook it

Mj Brooklyn hehe

Yum!! These look awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing!
I'm in the archive now. I will be all caught up before too long!
We use our slow cooker often. In fact it is going to be used today for a new chicken recipe :)
You Always seem so calm. I really admire that. I have a 21month old daughter and a almost 7 month old baby boy and I really need to count to ten and breaaaaathe thousand times a day.

I'm starving now! Looks delicious!!!
Very nice:) Such a cute kid too!
instead of the tomato paste I use a jar of salsa and about a half hour done cooking I leave the lid to vent and it absorbs the liquid....
That's a good idea. Will try that too.
This is so fun, seeing your kitchen back in the day. I am a new fan, just a few weeks following. And is that pretty baby Amelia? She's like 10 now!
Love seeing this. You are such a great Momma. God's blessing on you all!
This looks so good!
I enjoy your videos all the time!
I'm deff gonna try this
+Jamerrill Stewart deff will perfect for fall
Aww sweet Amelia x
flesh side up works best for me on the peppers
best way the shred up chicken like that is use your hand mixer works wonderfully
I agree with Crystal Douglass turn the peppers over
Could you use chicken thighs? My hubby don't like white meat.
Looks yummy 😋 when I make this I don’t but the veggies 🌶 in until the last hour my family likes them a little crunchy 😂
Turn your veggies/fruit over so you go through the soft flesh first and then it will go through the skin easier, since you are already sliding the knife in.
LOOKS so yummy!!! can i freeze the leftovers?
Looks delicious!!!
Over 300k subscribers congrats

Would this work as a THM E Meal?
Yum
It's easier to cut bell peppers when you put them skin side down.
where did u buy ur slow cooker? i have never used one.please help. Thanks in advance
Walmart. Less then $20. Get a 5 quart.
Anyone else surprised that there is no liquid involved in this recipe from what I can see? Where did all that broth at the end come from?
Has anyone ever tried this w lean beef like a sirloin steak or roast???
No lime? No fajati mix?
