Not sure why I love watching your videos but I do. I'm 45 and single and have never been blessed with a husband or children which hurts my heart alot. But, I think that's why I love watching you guys I like to see a large loving family and get to see their day to day life. I may not have it for myself but, can experience it in little ways watching families posts like yours. I try to make versions of your recipes for a single person. I can get pretty close I think. I try anyway.
Thanks for sharing all that you do. Is a bright spot in my day.
    Take care

+Happy Mom of 5 Thank you for that.....I do pray alot that God would give me the vision to see what it is He wants from my life. In my first job I spent 15 yrs as a nursing asst in a nursing taking care of the elderly. I knew at the time that was were God wanted me. I think it was more for me than it was them lookinh back now. It taught me patience, compassion, and humiity to an extended degree that I know I would not have had otherwise. I have prayed alot along if that was where he wanted me to return but, in my best I don't think it is. I feel that He has said that part of my journey is over it has served it's purpose and to look forward. I think there is a plan for me in God's mind it just hasn't been fully revealed yet. My priest recently pointed out to me because I felt frustrated that I couldn't discern His plan for me said "Well maybe His plan right now is to teach you to trust God's timing and not your own" " you know it's there but you need to be patient and let go and let God work His plan on His timing". So i have tried to think of it that way. But I sure wouldn't mind any extra prayers to help me figure it out.

Kel70... You are better off than you think--- you have been blessed-- for you have found God & put Him 1st in your life; so sad for those who are "lost" because they have not formed a relationship with God. Keep praying His plan is the best plan.

This is very impressive! As a Malaysian who cooks & eats Nasi Goreng regularly, I give you two thumbs up! (^_^)
I know it is not an authentic Fried Rice where you can get in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia but heyy you did a good job improvising it to suit your taste and family. Well done Jamerrill :)

I just came across your video it was about 3:00 AM in the morning. I could not stop watching your channel. I love your videos. I've been watching them back to back. You have a beautiful family and you give such good ideas for recipes. You remind me of when I was growing up in a large family of six sisters and three brothers. You bring back so many of my own memories of living with a large family and my mom cooking large meals. Keep the videos coming, You are the real deal. So many others are seeming to be fake. I have subscribed and liked your channel. Keep up the good job and positive videos.

I LOVED this video. :) I like watching what other large family mom's are cooking for their families. We currently have 6 kids and it seems like I'm ALWAYS in the kitchen. :) It's always takes longer to cook when you are vlogging too. :) Looks yummy. Thanks for sharing! -Janelle from Parsnips and Parsimony

I just found this TH-cam channel today and I have been binging on it for the past 2 hours...and so far that wonderful cast iron skillet has not been cool for more than a minute !!/:)
What a Wonderful mom and wonderful kids and sounds like a wonderful dad !
With that many kids and it sounds like you have some property, I wonder why you don't do a little gardening ? Just start with herbs and tomatoes and see were that will take you. I had bought a similar package of those peppers and I saved some seeds from the peppers and dried them and we now have several pepper plants for ourselves and I have given some plants and seed to others that I know that do some container gardening.

I love your videos so much, you remind me of my mother which I think is why I find these videos so comforting. Also, liquid aminos is an amaaaazing soy sauce sauce alternative, it tastes JUST like it and it's almost a quarter of the sodium compared to the OG, for anyone wondering!

Elizabeth Garvey Fermented products like soy sauce have many health benefits. Used and consumed in small quantity the sodium content would not adversely affect the health. I would prefer a naturally made product like soy to substitute ones.

Love this so much - I only have one son but I find your videos very encouraging (hehe) to make bigger meals and freeze them so on days I work I don't have to have a stressful day. I also love how you talk about home schooling as I'm honestly thinking about it. With all those negative influences out in this world the idea of having my son be home schooled is very appealing 😀 thanks for the time you put into this channel - it's much appreciated!

  • @kardancer1

We make a version of fried rice.stir fry. If we use rice we add the egg, if rice noodles we don't. My husband makes a sauce out of Lea Perrins Worcestershire Sauce. "I am allergic to soy so we use it in place of soy sauce it works perfectly", honey, chili powder, paprika and garlic. We marinate the meat in it. If we do beef we add some beef or chicken broth and cornstarch to thicken it We have done versions with peppers, onions, broccoli, snow peas, onions, peas, etc. It is what ever we have on hand.

When I make fried rice for my family of six, I also use brown rice, eggs, corn, peas, onion, garlic, red chili flakes, chicken or shrimp, red bell pepper, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onion. I think that's it! You should get a extra large metal mixing bowl, restaurant supply stores carry the large ones. You would use it always daily with your large wonderful family. I found mine at a garage sales years ago! I love mine!

We love adding Liquid Amminos to out stir fry. try adding ginger next time. fresh or powder. it adds a great flavor.
would mixing it all together in a stock pot be easier? I know you use what ya have. love how you add you own touches to the recipes! now we're all gonna want stir fry. LOL

Have you heard of salad in a jar? I came across a few on You Tube but they look so pretty. Use any vegetables you like. Pour about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of your favorite dressing in a Mason jar then layer in your vegetables, heaviest first cabbage, whole grape or cherry tomatoes, chopped chicken, pepperoni, brown rice, chopped mushrooms, spinach, and green peas. You can use any amount or combination of these veggies. Just push down and screw on the lid. This would be a good meal for your husband's lunch. He can put it in a small cooler with a frozen cold pack. Right before you eat, just shake well and coat the vegetables we it the dressing.

That's the way my hubby loves his fried rice too! Have you ever checked out buying neat in bulks? like whole beef or pork or groeing some meat chickens. One family I know of with nine kids bought 20 meat chicks every summer and the kids had lots of fun feeding and growing them. They were ready about four months later. Just a thought! You're a great mom :-)

Looks really yummy Jamerrill!!! I make my version of stir fried rice for my family of 4, rice, peas and carrots with scallions add a couple of eggs in the middle of the rice then mix it all in add the soy sauce and sesame oil, mix well and then eat!!! Love your version better with the chicken and more veggies, tfs :)

Very good a tip for you leave the pass slightly frozen you dont need to cool them they will pop in your mouth when you chew them instead of mush.
