    Really cool tractor lawnmower I used one of these in my days of being a commercial landscaper they get the job done while you kick back in comfort and enjoy the ride ...😁👍I enjoy riding lawn mowers of different sorts it beats walking behind a push mower any day doesn't it ..😆 nice purchase my bro this craftsman tractor lawnmower will last you a lifetime and some awesome choice ...👍

      Yeah I'm hoping to get a lot of good years out of Sequoia. If I get enough views I will do a review on this model. There a couple of things I would change. The seat could be more comfortable.

    The Troy-Bilt Pony has the exact same controls and works the same way. It just has a bigger engine (500cc) and a 42" cutting width.

      @@kachiskid pretty certain they do, believe they have always been the cheap-o walmart brand, they just use to be made much better imo. Early 90's still had the more squared off body style that I appreciate in both trucks and mowers.

      $2000 seemed like a lot when I could get a '42 at the same price, but she slides in nicely, right between my cars. Having never had one, I don't know what I'm missing without that extra 6 inches. At $50/cut for 6 months (Michigan) is $1200. In 2 years she is paid off. To bad gas is so expensive.

    Thanks for this video .. very helpful .. I purchased Craftsman T110 riding mower .. 3 months old .. it would not start!! Turn the keys no juice to the starter .. The battery is fully charged, it has a full tank of gas, engine oil is good, seat switch is good but yet it would not start!!

      @@kachiskid Yes it was running the day before.. I did check the following Battery Charged, Fuel is full, Check Dipstick engine oil is in range, Lever in Neutral(Not forward or reverse), Clutch is Park position, Disengage mower deck (Blades NOT engaged), Choke in Rabbit position,
      8. Check the -(ve) ground connection below the seat and very no loose wiring - Still wouldn't start!

      Does the engine attempt to turn over when you turn the key? What is the voltage reading on your battery? You know for a fact that the engine hasn't seized or anything, right?

    Do you need to engage the clutch every time you change speed on the throttle? If you go from 4-6 do you need the clutch engaged?

      I do. I use the clutch a lot. Yes from 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, engage.

    I just got mine delivered from Lowes pre-assembled. I had it set to cut at level 3 and doesn't looks like it's giving me that nice looking stripes that I would normally get using my old Bolens before it died. I had to switch it to a 2 to get similar look like my old lawn mower or at least to give a feeling that my grass is being cut. What I'm I doing wrong?

      Whoa, that is crazy because I am currently using setting #4 because #3 was cutting to low. I guess it depends on what type pf grass you are cutting. Feel free to send pic to kachlskid.com. Hard to diagnose without seeing it.

    How’s this holding up? The experts always recommend against buying an MTD unit. I went for a John Deere.

      @@kachiskid you can change the speed of a tractor by putting different size pulleys on the bottom of the engine it is the most effective way to be cheap and get real gains

      Because of the price of gas, I use 89 octane and add Lucas ethanol remover. Congrats on your 1st riding mower.

    cutting in reverse. The yellow button beside the key is how to cut in reverse .the key has to be in the yellow position instead of green

    I’m a female and have never operated one of these. I’m just getting tired of paying such high prices for my mowing service. Seems seems tremendously complicated for me. I had no idea a “clutch” was involved. Perhaps had I learned to drive a stick shift many years ago, this wouldn’t be so threatening! Ugh!😳

      Please don't be threatened..I had no idea of how to use this mower, until 10 days to making this video. The idea of the clutch is to just get it rolling and to move into lower and high gears. Same as a car or a bike. I never had ridden a motorcycle and STlLL have never driven a stick shifting car. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

    I am having issues with mine. it will not start on choke. it will start on rapid. if I cut some grass get off and get back on in 5minutes it will not start. I have to wait a while. what could that be\?

      Check your carb. you might have to remove and open. Could be a float bowl issue. Might be getting stuck.

    I'm 82 and my wife is 77 so a walk behind mower is a eqal pain literally.
    So we are buying a T110 with the snow blade since we do get snow where we live.
    Grass cutting services and snow removal are gettig too expensive!

      @@kachiskid We figured the cost of a residential lawn and snow removal service for our area over a years time and the cost of the machine and blade is just about a wash.

    I hope you've learned by now but the thing you were calling the choke is the choke and throttle the thing you called the throttle is just a speed adjuster it does not adjust the throttle

    I strongly dislike these style mowers. Honestly my favorite style is probably the lt1000 style manual or the 90s simplicity style.
