- Very nice upgrade here! Source was in really good shape, but was very drab in color. Was really able to spruce things up using Resolve as you can see from the before/after screenshots here -- imgbox.com/g/c... -- Topaz was used to denoise, sharpen, and upscale
Alot of people hate on joe theisman as an announcer but i actually really really like and enjoy hin has a commentator
Probably in the minority but I really enjoyed the Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann and Paul Maguire booth.
Joe was great so was paul maguire
Mike Patrick was one of the best announcer's, I enjoyed listening to him.
Except for the "What is Britney doing with her life?" moment

I love how right after Harden is made to look like an absolute fool, #34 Tyrone Braxton comes off the sideline to 'high-five' and congratulate him??? Good lord. That kind of stuff was a big reason I stopped watching the NFL ten years ago, but I guess it was occurring way before then.

Football used to be so cool
Largent is HOT before the hit because of the terrible “offsetting fouls” penalty. But he hasn’t forgotten Harden either.
After laying the wood to Harden, hustling to the football, and recovering, he gets up and he is talking to the Broncos defense letting them know about it. The refs want the ball and instead, Largent flips it over their heads into the Denver defenders. GAWWWW!!! Yoda has turned heel and is ready to throw DOWN!!
All of that for…..a defensive holding play that nullifies all of it. Unreal! 😂

Wow, that color and picture is really sharp,. nice work. It seems like Mike Patrick was still working recently, this was 36 years ago, so probably not.
He retired sometime in 2018.

The Seahawks-Broncos rivalry at its most heated peak. You can imagine the Seahawks had some revenge up their sleeves after what Mike Harden did to Steve Largent on opening weekend (but especially Largent). And this obviously was a huge game for both teams, as 1st place in the AFC West also was on the line.

I don't remember whether I mentioned this in connection with another game, but those old domes had terrible lighting, with the result that the games looked very drab and dark. This enhancement probably makes the game look more vibrant than it did when it aired.

The payback on Harden was brutal-I'm so glad you put another gem up. I can literally watch football again-fully knowing the outcome-but this was my football growing up. Can't stand todays game. Too much celebrating-every play.

I always liked Steve Largent.....he wasn't Flashy, always looked like a guy ,lucky to make the team.....and then he just made plays,great catches and produced. And as a Lifelong Steeler Fan......LOVED the Payback! Make your opponent respect you.....the Hard Way! That End Zone Angle of Harden flying thru the Air is the Text Book Definition of " Ass over Tea Kettle!" BOOM!

This was the start of an odd run by the Broncos. Lost back to back Super Bowls, then starting this year it was:
88 - missed playoffs. 89 - Super Bowl. 90 - missed playoffs. 91 - AFC Championship game (should have won). 92 - missed playoffs.
Boy did I love those old Seahawks uniforms. As much as I hate their current ones, in fact.
Yea, those blue, silver and green unis were perfect together, but the truth is I think the Broncos unis were fantastic, and the change they made far worse than the Seahawks.
I like the current Seahawk uniforms personally
