Haha you stayed at the south end, we camped at the north end - it's like the perfect setting for the battle of the Edinburgh TH-camrs :D Cheers

Top, top video once again....what an incredibly beautiful place. You only see the true scale of how immense that Loch is when you are on the water....incredible. Thank you.

We stayed in a guest house literally a 5 min walk from where you are on the busier side of the loch, we done the boat tour which was outstanding and the guy who owned the guest house gave us a detailed route to go round the whole loch ... it was one of the best days of my life loads and loads of new memories. If you get a chance go to Castle Urquhart

Hi Tony, Happy Anniversary to you and Kirsten. Glad you had a wonderful family outing. Clyde and I went up to Inverness and took a boat tour out the canal and onto the Loch. It was a surprisingly beautiful and calm day for early September and our tour went all the way down to Urquhart Castle, so not as far south as you were. It was such a lovely ride. So glad to see you out and about and showing us other parts of your beautiful country.

"How can you not fall in love with a place like this"? I did!!! Right behind the boat that you went on was Beastie Boats, a speed boat tour of the Loch. Didn't see the mythical Nessie but the "mythical" did happen....A proper Scottish Highland sunburn.
    Happy Anniversary!!!

This was a fabulous idea, video, and production!! GREAT to see it, hoping you'll do more of these types of localized vacations. JUST LOVE IT. I didn't know that the Loch Ness was deeper than the North Sea, that's really impressive.

Awesome Tony, and Happy Anniversary to you and your good lady. I'm kicking myself for only having driven past Loch Ness and haven't really spent a great deal of time there. I need to change that as it looks incredible. By the way, Steve Marsh has also posted a Loch Ness video this weekend so it has been fantastic marrying up the two videos. A cracking start to the weekend. Keep them coming 😊👍

This was stellar! Thank you, Kirsten and wee Lillian for this tour of Loch Ness and the Abby. Very belated blessings to you both on your anniversary!💙

What a great video Tony, I was in Inverness (the north end) in early 90’s. Toured around the whole loch by bus. We had lunch at the Abby you stayed in, don’t think it was a hotel then but I could be wrong. I hitched a ride with a boat tour guide who was taking his boat out before tourist season to make sure everything was working properly. I had to get a bottle (or 2) of Glenmorangie as my fare and we went out for hours until it got really dark, bit spooky to be out on that loch after dark and with someone you just met, ah the stupidity of youth
