I took a private tour booked on Viatour. The driver & guide were incredibly helpful getting my chair onto the boardwalk & pushing me through the rocks. I do hope they get more resources there to finish the boardwalk from end to end. Also, if you’re in a chair, you need to have heavy-duty wheels or the rocks will just tear through them. My chair is made for all-terrain so that wasn’t an issue for me & the driver helped push me through those areas, even though my chair is motorized.
Afternoon ladies. I am currently watching your latest video of Antarctica and enjoying it very much. I wanted to let you know that I am going on a cruise in October on Princess. It has been 10 years since I was on a Princess cruise, so I know things have changed, but I am now in a wheelchair before I was not. I know I have told you a little bit about my cruise last July on Royal Caribbean and the disaster it was for my first wheelchair cruise and I sure hope Princess is a lot better than Royal was. I was wondering if you have ever been on a Princess cruise. We are going on the Emerald princess to Canada and New England. This is going to be a fun cruise I think because I am from Utah originally and our high school class decided to go on a cruise for our 50th anniversary out of high school. Ten years ago we went on a 40th reunion to Alaska with Princess. And it was very wonderful. But having never cruised with Princess in a wheelchair I’m very nervous. So hopefully it will be better than Royal was last summer. But if you could let me know how you liked Princess and the accessibility for Maddie that would be wonderful.
