The reason why Karasu has the same style as overhaul is because they are following a real-life dress style (mask wise), which is that of the plague doctor. And the plague doctor's mask is made to resemble a crow's face. See the resemblance? All of the revolutionary commanders (except Karasu) wear hats with goggles on them (like Sabo's).

And they are getting very close to the manga, since Ode takes a break every 4 chapters. So the choice is between stretching out episodes/adding flashbacks or get a bunch of fillers. A solid win isn't enough. Blackbeard killed Whitebeard, took his power, rampaged across the New World, acquired island after island, defeated Marco and several other TOP TIERS and claimed Whitebeard's territory - THEN he became an official Yonko, and some people even say that's not enough and "cheating" because he just slid in and took Whitebeard's place because it happened to be empty. it's not like the ''title'' of yonko comes with a ceremony. it's from how they have influence on the world and the share of power they hold in the world. Luffy right now has a lot of both, enough to be on par with the other 4? probably not but he's next on the list. So to the world it's not so far fetched to call him the 5th emperor.

Well, since you asked, you're way past the point where they confirm Bon-Chan is alive. It isn't a huge story, or anything, but there was a cover page entitled 'The New Queen Of The New Kamabakka Kingdom'. So, basically, Bon-Chan is on level 5.5, and has taken Iva's place.

A solid win isn't enough. Blackbeard killed Whitebeard, took his power, rampaged across the New World, acquired island after island, defeated Marco and several other TOP TIERS and claimed Whitebeard's territory - THEN he became an official Yonko, and some people even say that's not enough and "cheating" because he just slid in and took Whitebeard's place because it happened to be empty.

it's not like the ''title'' of yonko comes with a ceremony. it's from how they have influence on the world and the share of power they hold in the world. Luffy right now has a lot of both, enough to be on par with the other 4? probably not but he's next on the list. So to the world it's not so far fetched to call him the 5th emperor.

Plague Doctors are very very popular in japanese culture because of their outfits, which for them resembles a crow, birds who are very popular with "edgy teens" and linked to chuuni quite a lot, they're seen as "cool birds".
The next episodes have A LOT flashbacks, so in my opinion, you can cut them out. But the most important tthing in the next arc, enjoy it

Well, since you asked, you're way past the point where they confirm Bon-Chan is alive. It isn't a huge story, or anything, but there was a cover page entitled 'The New Queen Of The New Kamabakka Kingdom'. So, basically, Bon-Chan is on level 5.5, and has taken Iva's place.
