If you can step off of ur clutch pedal before u apply ur accelerator, u are using the correct gear to start ur rig moving.. You can go years with out need to adjust the clutch.. Riding or slipping the clutch cause ur in to high a gear will warp the plate between the driven plates and will there after be harder to select a gear while stationary in future..
No.. it doesn't. You have to set the 1/2 inch as shown. You have to set the 1/8 by adjusting the linkage. At least, that's what I remember being taught.
This Is How All Instructional Videos Should Be... Thorough 👍👍👍
There's a little more to it than what they showed, which is only the basics.

Thanks a lot for the video! I like the tool you made!
Have you ever had to change the length of the clutch rod under the cab to get the TOB close enough to engage the brake disc in the bell housing ?
Very good job 👍
Been awhile since last comment but turning the bolt you push in to adjust gap. That adjustment does both the 1/2 and 1/8 inch gaps??

i really like the homemade tool with 1/2 inch and 1/8 inch all in one. perfect.
just use a 1/2
head bolt to check gap
I use a long feeler gage 1/2 in wide. Hack saw blade is the same. A torx driver I never use for anything else is 1/8 inch.
Is that d13 13 sp transmission?
Thanks for the help!
