My cat gets between me and my monitor all the time, and the idea of picking her up and throwing her out of the way has never even been the slightest consideration in my mind. If anything, I know she gets in front of me when she wants attention, so I end up stopping games and giving her attention instead. This, on top of other things she's done, like copystrike bullshit, or claiming she married a guy just to try and get into Canada easier, and Alinity really seems like a vile person.
I just pick my cat up when he's being annoying and put him on the floor or my lap. If I'm not busy doing something I'd give him the attention he wants but I work from home about 50 to 75% of the time.
I work at home sometimes when the weather is bad and literally scratch my cat behind the ears when he lays next to me. He loves it and I work without having problems.
