    Good vid!
    For new players: don't worry about the mods that need a lot of endo (to rank up the mods) to be at max rank.
    Serration and Hornet Strike will be fine at level 7 or 8. I played for over 2 years with these mods at rank 8 before fully levelling them up.
    As Nik mentioned diminishing returns, fully ranking these mods have the same "issue": a rank 8 serration is +135% (so 235% total damage).
    A rank 10 does +165% (total 265% damage). The increase from rank 8 to 10 will then be: 265/235 = 12.7%.
    That is a lot of endo for an increase of 12.7%.

      Good tip! Yeah, level up your mods as much as you can without breaking your bank, even a halfway leveled up mod is far superior to an unranked mod.

    This is by far the best weapon mods beginner guide on TH-cam. I have watched dozens but for the first time modding is starting to make sense!! Thank you!!

    The starchildren need more of this. I look forward to when you cover frame modification, status and my personal favorite item, specters.

    simple terms, man I wish I had had this when I started, I honestly feel like auto-mod is terrible and teaches bad habits

    I love the videos, helped me with alot plus you are entertaining. Keep it up!!!
    I would also like to point out that even playing this game since 2016 your beginner videos still help me out too. Even your videos more for beginners always teach me something new.

    Yep im on mastery 8 and my level 30 wapons are a joke, the only thing saving my Bacon is the glaive Xoris, started building Formas, than heard about polarities and gave up,
    Playing Protea right now so i can kill enemies with skills

      Go to the market and grab the blueprint for the Fulmin, it's a REALLY strong MR8 weapon. Definitely worth investing in. You'll need Hexenon to craft it though, so start farming Jupiter!

      @@TwoStarPlayers Only 200 hexen left to build, time to farm hehehe, Meanwhile, I have the bow and arrow I got from Stalker standing in the forge, is it worth investing in this weapon? 😮

      That bow has good damage, but killing enemies one by one with a bow takes a long time. I prefer to use either automatic rifles or rocket launchers instead.

      @@TwoStarPlayers Affirmative sir, thanks for the tips, forgetting a little about the super complicated mechanics, This game is really cool, I'm going to start the patient zero saga today, I can't wait to find out what happened to Alad V after helping us, Have a nice day ☕😁

      I always say polarities are useless feature and should have got deleted for normal mod slots with the old reskin of the mod system. There are Mods without polarity and drain for railjack abilities and the parazon. They can do it if they want

    It's a very nice vidéo for the beginners, if i stumble accross some beginners that are english, i'll send them your video about modding !
    BUT for the beginners there is a BIG probleme for the, 1st they have to farm those mods, so RNG.... but it's pretty easy to solve that probleme if they play with friends who have those in their inventory; BUT the second one is the worst, they don't have the capacity to put everything on their weapons, because of the mastery rank bound capacity, they need to potato the weapon AND forma to be able to put more mods to increase the damage, i think this is a probleme that DE need to adresss in the future !

    The image for the orokin catalyst has been broken in game for weeks lol
    Also, for new players ... you'll need way more catalysts than reactors. There are 40-ish frames and 500-ish weapons.

    At 17:04 you said that secondaries don't have punch through, but the Seeker mod gives punch through. Not trying to be a jerk saying this, everything you said made complete of sense and I learned a lot from this video, so thanks!

    Great video! The only thing is that it would be beneficial to newer players if you explained when to opt for crit or status builds.
    Edit: I believe the base percentage is 20% to make it a viable build. Correct me if I am wrong.

    • @TwoStarPlayers
      @TwoStarPlayers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True, but I think that's more for an intermediate guide, for beginners I tried to keep things as simple as possible.

    Polarities are a clunky system, it would belfar moreusefull having tabs for each multiplier, base. Multishot, elemental, critical, status, reload etc. I dont envy the consoles

    • @Cross1nsan1ty
      @Cross1nsan1ty 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have our bumpers for the tabs or if we need to search something we just click he left stick in. It's not that bad.
      Imo the Cursor made it worse since now the tabs are cursor based, meaning depending on where the cursor is on screen determines which tabs switch (loadout, or polarity tabs).
