- Today, Byron found an absolute steal on a Traxxas UDR (Ultimate Desert Race) so we had to test if it is a good basher. I've only heard bad things about the Traxxas UDR as this was my first experience with it. What do you think? Do you think the Traxxas UDR is a good basher?

$300 with batteries and all those upgrades that is definitely a steel I can barely find a UDR where I live that isn't $700 with beat up plastics and missing screws

That was the saddest excuse for bashing I've ever seen. 2 10 year olds bash better than that. I don't think the udr was made to do dumb donuts and jump concrete curbs! The rc doesn't suck, the operator sucks! Couple tools is all I saw!

@ that’s what we do lol! Extreme durability tests to let people know what they can expect out of the truck . Hopefully people won’t do what we do lmao
First of the udr is not intended for bashing at it clearly stated on the box if people would actually read it 😂

Aluminum arms on any rc is crazy. UDR looks awesome but I hear it’s a pain in the ass to work on

@@LifeOfBallen yea I think it needs some love to see what it can truly do. Previous owner didn’t seem to know what upgrades were worth their money…. Aluminum A arms are always a huge red flag when buying an RC. That money should’ve been put towards parts that INCREASE durability not ones that cause more issues and add extra weight 🤣

UDR is the Pro Scale, that's not for bashing though
i bet it would lasted a little longer if it wasn’t used but still it held its own pretty good for it not being a basher
Agreed! Yea it was used but it actually has upgraded parts in the spots that you need
King shocks make massive improvement on the udr trying to get it to flip is like a new challenge! Best RC on market nothing compares to it yet! Well losi baja ray 2.0 but only 2 rcs for me

I recommend rpm rear arms for this and aluminum front arms.

@@LifeOfBallen yeah the rear end needs a little more flex for durability but aluminum on the front is a must. I also recommend used the shoe goo and drywall. Tape trick for that udr body.

@@LifeOfBallen I purchased one last night. so far it looks like it's built and designed totally different than "basher " trucks. Just looking around YT i see that question all over the place.. so that tells me that there's the question- I mean you can use it for that all you want. I just think there might be better choices for that activity. I'm new so i could be wrong.
