Just subscribed! Made this thing in 2 minutes and now the hell I was going through is over!! This is so much easier! Pry bar??? hammer??? Who needs 'em!?!?You, my friend, are a Rockstar! Thank you... sincerely.
This is a great way to remove old deck boards. These boards were nailed in and it worked great. I haven't used it on screwed down deck boards yet. This is much easier than trying to remove them with a hammer and pry bar.
I had to help my brother tear apart a large multi -deck for one of his construction jobs and so I made this tool and this tool was a big hit , Thanks a lot for a great shop tip ! this tool saved lots of time and it saved me from lots of bullwork . Excellent tip ! Thanks again. !
Ok, so, what am I missing? With this method, you’re removing the boards in front of you. As you remove the boards, what do you stand on?? The joists? Do you leave the boards that you popped up in place so you can stand on them? Do you put a piece of plywood across the joists?? Again, what am I missing?
thats good thanks dude for sharing
This just saved my night. It wasn’t going well with just a hammer, so I saw this and made it real quick. Boards are popping super easy now. Thank you!
Glad this tip helped!
Where does one buy a toobafoor?
Native to my area unfortunately. A 2x4 would suffice

Just use a sliding nail puller. Saves from going back and pulling nails.
@@Ericbjohnston5150 I didn’t have to pull the nails so I just used this.
@@mountaintopremodeling I shoulda said for general public use puller.

Thanks... I'm so going to do this.
Where was this recorded? Looks beautiful !
Good video thank You
What if they used screws or proper nails?
This was an older deck so they would have just pulled through the boards. Then you’d have to either unscrew or sawsall the protruding fastener
