What are the chances that someone could get banned by using these kind of services? follow up question, do the followers decline over time, and if so, by how much?
These services are explicitly against Instagram's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, so yes, you could definitely have your account disabled. It didn't happen to us, but it's especially risky because you have a person logging into your account from another country.
to answer your other question: compared to our experiments with cheaper services, we actually haven't noticed the same level of follower decline - these are real accounts that follow you, not bot accounts that get deleted. That said, we did the experiment recently so we could see more decline in the future.
@@HootsuiteLabs I just saw someone serious advertise this in his story. He has a legit business, so I was surprised how he would advertise such a sketchy deal. With that said, wouldn't he get banned by insta for putting that in his story? It doesn't seem like he will, but why?
I believe boosting a post is different when it comes from instagram than what you’re explaining, correct? Because what you’re explaining, you mean in regards to those ppl on instagram that always comment “promote it” on such posts that ppl post, correct? Which will be the accounts on instagram that say they are promoters and not the boosting that comes directly from instagram correct?
Boosting a post on Instagram is yes, VERY different than buying growth services from 3rd party websites or Instagram users (usually scams). "Boosting a post" = turning it into an ad and paying for more reach. We have a video on this coming up soon, so keep an eye out! :)

im just trying to gain followers on my new business account so i could do some networking so i could be able to grow my business , gain customers. my plan was to show restaurants and other business owners my business and share their business on my account. basically a share for a share.
right, so for that strategy to work you'd want to think about who is going to want to see those posts. are you targeting foodies? tourists? people who live in a specific city or neighbourhood, even?

Ya tbh a lot of ours haven’t been deleted either. But it is definitely a problem if we ever want to get verified AND ALSO the cheap followers look fake as heck, and the expensive followers clutter up my feed with really boring stuff.
