Awesome vid as always. I dig that intake and your bike. Just some *caution* for others. Since The throttle body on Milwaukee 8 is mostly plastic i snapped mine in 3 places with a small 1/4” ratchet trying to install an arlen ness big sucker intake since the mounting plate wasn’t perfectly flush. It broke super easily. Causing me $589 to replace and fix NOT covered under HD warranty. The dealership said a LOT of guys have broken their m8 throttle bodies same way. I installed a joker intake on my 2017 sporty XL1200x with no sweat. Just dont wanna see anyone else have to go thru this
@madfzr wow man that sucks, yeah I've heard you have to be pretty careful not tightening the bolts too much as they'll break pretty easily. Good heads up man, can certainly be an expensive mistake.
I found your channel under the search when I was looking to buy a 2019 Street Bob.Your vid's are very good and i appreciate your install tips'. after watching your install and review of the TBR pipe the next day I bought the bike and a TBR pipe perfect sound in my opinion.I have subbed to your channel .Keep the great vid's comming
You may want to pick up a screaming eagle tuner witch is the one my dealership recommends for warranty purposes I've used it after pipes and air cleaner install to tune the bike. Is pretty easy to use and seems to work pretty well 👍
Yeah thanks Ron, My dealership recommended the screaming eagle pro street tuner as well. I'll have them set it up when I take the bike in for its 1200km service.
Awesome job as always. A/F ratio should be fine as long as your not rev'n the snot out of it, WOT might not be too good, but low rpm cruising fine till tuned (2cents). I thought I was going to buy a Street Bob, but ended up liking the fit of the Fat Bob instead. After seeing this I think that air cleaner setup is optimal for foward controls and leg position. I like the look of the Heavy Breather but don't wanna spend the money to find out it sucks for my leg position on foward controls. Keep up the great vids.🤙
@Robert Bowen thanks man. I much preferred the look of the heavy breather intake aswell but was told it's not suitable for the street bob when you run forwards. In saying that I think this air cleaners the next best 🤙
The k&n air filter is very durable and performs great. It's easy to clean and re-oil. I haven't found a single fault with the k&n filters and I can see why the Harley Davidson screaming eagle range uses them.
How do you rate the intake? I’m running the same on my street bob but find living in the country I’m always cleaning it out and when I go on the next ride a lot of the K&n oil runs out over the bike, do you have the same issues?
Yeah man, I havnt had to clean it out just yet but it's due for a clean and oil soon. It does get dirty pretty quickly as it goes from the pink colour to the grey colour in a matter of rides. I'll let you know how I go after I oil it 🤙
@@JayTatum418 with the ventilator air cleaner you use the stock breather bolts. But with the extreme flow air cleaner I used the breather bolts provided with it 👍
No haven't had this issue at all, I've heard a few people have on the Facebook street bob page. Everyone puts it's down to the oil level being too high which causes the blow by
Bike is awesome and the vids are easy to follow. Im looking to buy a street bob and basically do the same 'Clubstyle' mods. Any chance you could do a vids talking about how much it all cost, bike + mods.
Bro that looks sic and nice install yeah it’s better to do it yourself the have the dealer ship do it because they try and scare you that it’s going to void your warranty if they don’t do it that way they get more money out of you
@5 foot 10 Harley thanks man. Fortunately my dealership is pretty leanient with mods. They were great when my slim s played up after all the mods I did. I've certainly heard other dealerships will void warranty when you do your own mods.
@The Krazed that's cheap labour. To be honest though, personally I find half the fun in owning a bike is working on it yourself but thats just me man 👍

Just ordered that air cleaner. Thanks for the install video. That's helpful.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the positive feedback. I'll keep doing vids as long as people are liking em 👍
I have the same air cleaner. I’m trying to figure out how to install an external breather kit to mine

What can you tell about the k&N air charger? I been looking to buy that one, but haven’t seen many reviews hanging on Milwaukee 8 motors.
The k&n air filter is very durable and performs great. It's easy to clean and re-oil. I haven't found a single fault with the k&n filters and I can see why the Harley Davidson screaming eagle range uses them.
Looks fantastic...way better...well done!!
Thanks mate, I'm very happy with it 👍
Great video's mate, keep em coming.
Thanks mate, will do. There's still a load of things I want to do to it 👍

The Gingybeard Man very interested to find out. I’ve got a rain cover for it to try help but doesn’t look good on the bike
Did u change the breather bolts? If so where u got them from?
The kit comes with a set of breather bolts 👍
I replace the stock one for the screaming eagle ventilator from ur other video and had to use the stock breathing bolts. It matter whixh ones i use?

@@robertprotomanni not a worry mate 👍
Looks pretty damn sharp now man
Thanks man, it looks heaps better hey.
Same after market one I want
Yeah man, its looks great and works well with forward controls. I've just got to get the bike tuned now.
How much did it cost to get Harley to tune it?
I'm getting it tuned tomorrow, they only have the maximus tuner in stock which is $720 including install
@@TheGingybeardMan OK. Let us know what you end up getting.
@@crokix will do man I'll be doing a video of how the bike feels with the tune 👍

Looks heaps better

I let my local Harley dealership do all the installation of exhausts / air cleaner/ tuning
They only charge me a labor of roughly $ 20 / hour

nice
Take them baffles out and install the V&H FP3.
Form Germany 10 points🤘
That seat looks horrible.
Yeah I've since changed it
