I left the stock cover on when I upgraded to stage 2. It looks stock but it was highly modified to fit the Arlen Ness big sucker air filter. It works great. I love the sleeper stock look.
The heavy breather as you stated, looks cool but is not very practical for riding. I changed mine out on both the Street Glide CVO and the Street Glide ST. It just didnt work for me.
Looks awesome and gor $100 it is no brainer for sure. While I really like velocity stack I know these are tight on your legs otherwise I will put this on my ride for sure. I had this on my Sportster
I test rode an ST road glide & street glide. I didn't like how my Shin smacked the breath when braking. Huge problem. I'm sure if the floor boards could be lowered and move slight forward it'd be better. I also didn't care for the handlebars, felt like I was steering from my stomach, currently have 14in Todd's Cycle... Till I figure that out, I'll be sticking with my wide glide

Did you notice any difference in performance or mileage whatsoever?
No, not at all.
now you need to redirect your breather oil away from your throttle body and to the ground or can. we're not riding oil burners
That’s the plan

Awesome. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to get nice stuff.
It looks like it’s factory 👍🏼
