I can’t begin to imagine the pain felt by both sides of that first one. Watching a parent get killed in front of you is something no one should have to go through. But it’s also the same for the officers. It’s easy to just dehumanize them and forget that they’re still people, and they just had to protect themselves, the kids, and the public. Hearing the cries of those children is heart breaking, and those officers, despite being fully in the right, have to live with the fact that they killed two children’s mother in front of them.

The female officer should have been the one responsible, she was aggressive to Sean, who was stronger than her (and she knew it). When she drew her gun, instead of listening to the mothers advice of calling backup, she felt invincible with the gun and tried to arrest Sean which made him charge her but then she shot the mom. Instead she could have deescalated the situation and called for backup but her ego took charge. Absolutely pathetic, she should be sent to jail.

I can’t begin to imagine the pain felt by both sides of that first one. Watching a parent get killed in front of you is something no one should have to go through. But it’s also the same for the officers. It’s easy to just dehumanize them and forget that they’re still people, and they just had to protect themselves, the kids, and the public. Hearing the cries of those children is heart breaking, and those officers, despite being fully in the right, have to live with the fact that they killed two children’s mother in front of them.
