Getting my hands on the A1 Mini got me so excited, because it’s the perfect size for my desk setup! I can do protoyping work on this printer! It’s the best entry level 3D printer out there.
Can you please please please make a video/short on how to use this mini 3D printer for those who are looking to do this as a hobby? It would so helpful!!!!
Nice, but even printing PLA / PETG, I would avoid putting a printer so close to myself. I'd avoid the fumes as much as possible, since also PLA and PETG release VOCs
@@evans13_09 it may be the quitest printer and the motor noise canc. is incredible but when the toolhead fan kicks in it is not really quiet. I see that with it on a desk you coyld have a harder time working or studying
@@3D_AIRSOFT626 Im literally in the middle of doing work currently with it running -- Barely notice it aside from the vibrations (Im going to print new TPU Feet). If it ever does get loud (Mainly in the evenings if im doing an overnight print) I'll turn on silent mode. Im printing the 3D Printable Jet Engine by Catia.
Just got mine yesterday... Compared to my printer 10 years ago this thing is at least 10x faster and no issue printing. Have not had a bad print yet while my old printer had a success rate of 3/10
I got one but it is a bit to noisy for me, especially the mainboard fan. I had to put it outside my office. My 5 year old Artillery printer is less noisy. I don't know why TH-camr don't tell this.
Did you seal it before using it? Any water that gets on that will soak into the plastic and mold. I don’t recommend using that as a coaster unless it’s sealed
i'm new to the 3d printer world. is it safe to have that printer near you? does the 3d printer release harmful gases? There are a lot of brands too. but for now i'm just trying to research and hopefully find something that will serve me well but you have a cool 3d print set up and table
@@bhdproduction2007it is important to note that there hasn't been any long term research on the exposure effects of 3D Printers. Children are more susceptible to fumes/allergic reactions so I would not put this in the same room they reside in while printing if you wanted to be very cautious.
ALL 3D printer filament releases harmful microplastics particles into the air when printing. Just because PLA does not release many fumes does not make it safe to be around in operation.
When people ask me what I want to be when I grow up i I say you. They are going to be very confused ❤ but what you do and the success you made inspired me so much ❤❤❤❤
I got one. It prints very fast and works great out of the box, but I am very disappointed how loud the fans are. Especially the mainboard fan is very loud.
mainboard doesnt have fan, i have one and i can say its very quiet as someone coming from sv06, the fans need to be loud due to fast speeds to cool polymer layers
@@alex59292 It does have a Control Board Fan and I find it quite annoying. I can control the other fans but not the control board fan. I have a sidewinder x1 that is way more quiet, but not as fast.

I'm glad to see you're enjoying your new 3D printer, but I promise you that's not where that thing is going to stay. You will have filament poop all over the floor.
@@Anthony-stamahey Ender 3 pro is the best cheap printer for beginners that like to figure stuff out. It’s a pain but a great learning experience to head you in the right direction for some more complex stuff

You are worried about the fumes, I am worried about the insane noises. That thing is louder then a car

soem types of filiment do but PLA is fine to breathe and that is most likely what she is using

Only some filament can make toxic fumes. Make sure you buy normal pla because some companies add other materials that can cause fumes

It's only $200 right now. If you want the multicolor add-on (not required at all) then it is $350. Honestly a really good deal if you ask me.
