❤ My daughter-in-law is beginning so her and I am a very old Quilter, but wanted to get her started something simple that would be successful and she does love crafts. We made these with the tab in the hook like another one of your videos, and she was thrilled. Then we made a pillow from a large for Pat and again thrilled. I think I have her hooked thank you Quilting will now go on the next generation.
I agree with you entirely! Sewing a few - boxed! Sewing 70 for the entire staff - not boxed! I also agree with you about leaving the packaging on the tissues when giving away!
I just made 35 (yes 35) for a church group. I didn’t do boxed sides due to the amount but did some with boxed for my close friends. Such an easy delightful gift.
I like the boxed but both are just as practical. We never make just for ourselves so it’s what we feel like in that moment when we are assembly line sewing. And yes I have made 40 for a bridal shower 😊. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the great ideas and tutorial. Personally, I prefer the look of the one with the boxed corners……when I am ready to make several, I will streamline the process by taking 5 minutes to grab a used up gift card to make a simple custom template for the boxed corners. However, that’s just the way my brain works! lol
It's a thread saver. Some people cut their scraps into 2 1/2" squares, and bigger. They use them as leaders and make a bonus a uilt as they do their other projects.
Boxed or basic corners - which will you try?
I like the boxed corners.
Me too 🥰
I like both but prefer the box corners. 😊
Me too - unless I'm making a lot, then faster is better. (And I hope the recipients never see the boxed corners 😉)

I love this story so much! Welcome to sewing and quilting to your daughter-in-law!
Love these! I prefer the boxed corners, but I also added a clip at the end, this allows more options so they won't stray so easily.
Like a tab and clip so you can hook them on a d-ring, purse, etc? Great idea if so! Happy sewing!

Are you going to sew 70?? That should use a lot of scraps if that’s the plan 🥳
I did! Sent them to my daughter to share with the staff where she teaches - they were well received!
@@noodleroland1517 Very nice! 🥰
I like the boxed. Can't wait to make this. Thanks for the tutorial!
You're very welcome - happy sewing!
I like the boxed corners. Very nice!
I agree they are worth the extra effort!
I love the boxed corners!

Wow! Good for you - and agreed, I wouldn't have done boxed corners for that many either!
I like the boxed corner. I learn so much from you, thank you for the extra tips. I've made a few of these with a tab and hook.
You're very welcome - I need to do tab & hook too!
I love them both, but I liked the one whit the box corners ❤
@@marthabarrios7522 agreed. Happy sewing!

That's amazing - probably the best favor anyone got at a bridal shower! 👰🏻♀
I'm a neat boxed sewer! Love the pattern
Welcome to the boxed corner club 😂🥰
Just came across this and I set out to make one and finished 4 in no time. I like the boxed corner. Easy directions and very cute when completed.
Quick projects are just what we need sometimes, right? I’m a boxed corner fan too 🥰
Great video ❤ I prefer the box corners
welcome to the box corner club and happy sewing!
Hello! I made several tissue holders for Easter and making boxed corners never crossed my mind. Now I will give it a try. Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome! Did you add them to Easter baskets? That would be a fun extra 🐰
@ArtistTaraReed yes, that is exactly what I did. I added them to Eater baskets as an extra, personal treat in the recipient's favorite color.
@@suzannejambon4736 Love it!
I prefer the boxed style.
Me too!
I would do the boxed corners.
Team boxes corners ❤
Welcome to the team! 🥰🤣
Do you have a quick luggage tag tutorial
I don’t yet but it’s on my list!
Thank you for the great ideas and tutorial.

@@ArtistTaraReed thank you 🤗❣️
boxed corners!
Ditto!
Do you have measurements for a full size box of tissues?
I don't but will add it to my idea list - thx!

Interesting idea - thanks for sharing!
Boxed
Agree!
Boxed
ditto! 📦
I like the boxed corners for myself, but giving as a gift to a non-sewer, I wouldn't bother; they would never know the difference!
very true - just don't let them see yours! 😉
Q: after you sew the boxed corners, do you trim the little extra bulk of fabric or just leave it?
@@Bogey_and_bobbins I had to go double check but I just leave it - it's so tiny you won't know it's there
Thank you.
