- This is an honest unboxing and first impression video of my new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I'm so excited to have this phone and check out the features. I'm not a tech expert, but I definitely do my research and this phone promises to have great quality when it comes to the camera and processor. I also love how the phone looks so sleek, modern, and the tone color because it is such a nice tone of yellow. Surprisingly, it's not as HUGE as I was afraid it might be, although it is bigger than what I'm used to.
Definitely looking forward to testing everything out on this phone to see if I will become a loyal Samsung Galaxy user or not. I almost, almost went back to iPhone because of the improved camera and zoom on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but decided to hold on and get a Galaxy. I go into that and share the reasons why I decided this a bit on this video too. I hope my decision was worth it and that this phone lives up to the expectations for it especially when it comes to the camera lenses because I'm really into video/photography (read claims that it's the best Galaxy yet...).

iMessage and green bubbles is definitely an APPLE only problem. All other platforms support the use of RCS, which is the replacement for SMS, and also provides end to end encryption. Only iPhone users see green bubbles, no one else, and this is purely because the iPhone is the only one using the outdated SMS system outside of iMessage when every other phone has already adapted RCS.
Funny thing is SMS is outdated technology and not as secure as RCS. Yet you'll have Apple Fanboys on the blogs constantly spreading misinformation that the iPhone so secure 🔐 SMH...
Congrats! Samsung's Ultra phones are an absolute pinnacle of smartphone tech.

Now that your on Samsung your ecosystem is huge. Samsung is compatible with Microsoft, Google, and other Androids not to mention everything Samsung makes TV's, refrigerator, washer, stove, vacuum, and much more enjoy 😊

I just got an Ultra s24 two weeks ago. Transferring from an iPhone to my android was not fun!! 😤 Personally, I don’t understand the love of Apple products…BTDT and eh. I love the pen cos I use the PenUp app and color. 😂😂 I am happy that switched over from iPhone to android! 😊
I just recently bought the s24+. Absolutely beautiful phone, phone gives me 2 full days of usage and still ends the 2nd day with 20-30% battery. Snapdragon is crazy fast and overall incredible phone
Same here! I recently upgraded from the S22+ to the S24+. I wasn't going to upgrade because I thought It was too soon ( I've the
S22+ for only 2 years), but I'm glad I did. The difference in the performance, battery life, and display on the S24+ is amazing! Well worth the upgrade. I was considering getting 24 Ultra, but it' was a bit too big for me, and not a fan of the boxy shape. The shape and size of the S24+ feels perfect.
@818Cali_Tali I love the phone so far, I also dislike the boxy design of the ultra which is why I went for the plus. Now this is strictly on wifi, but im at 7 hours of SOT right now and have only used 58% battery. It's absolutely nuts
The plus version was never really a legit alternative to the Ultra until the S24. Now it's practically the same phone minus only a small number of non-essential features. The S24+ is considered by many as THE S24 to get this time around. I agree it's an awesome phone.

You should delve into Samsung Galaxy Ecosystem with Galaxy Watch, SmartTag tracker, Buds, Tab and more. They work quite seamlessly.
Don't forget to mention all the appliances and household accessories they make as well. They have a huge ecosystem also compatible with Microsoft, Google and other Androids.
Great video! First one I saw from you. You’ve got awesome phone now that will just keep getting better with updates over time. I really like S Pen too. I got my first Samsung about 6 months ago (used one, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) and it has been great and keeps getting better with updates that I always download right away.

How are you liking it so far? I also recently switched to the s24 ultra. Been an iPhone user since iphone 4. Much rather use my samsung. But I heard that apple "suppose" be using RCS coming this fall(so basically no more green vs blue bubbles) but I'm sure apple will come up with something

Hopefully you'll like it. It lasts really long, more than 4 years if there are no accidents.

Look for TH-cam videos using Samsung notes and S Pen swipe gestures and Goodlock....play around with goodlock modules specifically Wonderland for you lockscreen, one hand operation and registar....2 taps to turn flashlight on or open any app set up google assistant to open with two taps against the phone back
I've had a Pixel and I loved it but I really missed the cute themes on Samsung. I like the stylus for playing games and coloring on the Pen Up app
Also I recommend Hayl's Worlds videos on the Samsung s24 Ultra.. she has great videos on different features and stuff the phones can do

You can take a pic and have a time lapse pics from sunup to sun down....filters to make photos look like created by pen or magic marker.....need quickshare to transfer!!! Quickshare can share files from Samsung to Crapple!!!! You need expert Raw to take astrophotography and it has a constellation map that moves as you move...and you need to use side panels...

@akor7921 Oh, i thought you were getting one in April as they were going to be on deal. I'm due to upgrade, but I've been waiting as I've struggled to decide whether to go with the plus model ( exynos ) or go with the ultra. I've finally decided on the ultra, but now I'm not sure what colour to get, part of me was hoping they go on sale again or there is deal to get, where I get something free along side the phone.

The phone is fun, but after about a month, you start noticing little glitches and hiccups. I don’t know why that is with Samsung. I have the s23 ultra and iPhone 15 Pro. I will say that my main Sim card is in my iPhone.
I've had my s23 ultra since release day and just upgraded to the 24 ultra. Haven't had a single hitch in the entire year that it has been out. Meanwhile, my work iPhone 15 is constantly heating up and slowing down for absolutely no reason. So everyone's experiences vary.
@EvolvedAF Finally someone talks about the heating up on Apple. My friends and family always complain about it too but the minute you say anything Apple mafia on you smh. I've always had Android/Samsung I've had some heating problems on my s24 plus but did some research it would only happen on certain apps. Some apps aren't always optimized for your newer Android device. As soon as I stopped using the app no more heating problems 😊

It won’t even take a month, after the first week of heavy use I noticed glitches on my 24U, some requiring restarts, my 15PM never gives me these issues. Samsung has been like this since the start…. The iPhone is a much more satisfying experience albeit without the gimmicks.
@@JamesThomas-dn6ee all you have to do is go on TH-cam and type in S 23 ultra problems 😂 there’s a reason celebrities, and most people use iPhones it’s because people don’t wanna be hacked. And most people like communicating with family and friends easily, no one wants to download third-party apps to FaceTime and send high-quality videos. No one has time for that. It’s sad it’s 2024 and you still have to download a virus protector for your S24 that’s sad. only geeks and people who love technology are into android phones like that. The average person who uses an android who isn’t tech savvy doesn’t even know how to clear the ram, as a matter of fact, the average person who uses android knows nothing about their phone, literally, what’s the point in having 500 new features and you don’t even know how to use them 😂
This is a known fact.. IPhone users are forced to pay for so many things apple is so strict and want you to pay for almost everything you want to get or do to your phone.. It doesn't give you freedom to do whatever you want..
Samsung Galaxy, however, Allows you to do just about anything you want and give you creative freedom to do just about anything.. They don't force you to pay for everything.. It's so easy to get just about anything without having to pay a dime.

iMessage is not an iPhone problem. iMessages are encrypted. Apple will not give up your iMessages if requested. So it’s an android problem. That’s why people in parts of the world use WhatsApp because those are encrypted similar to iMessages.
My guy imessage is literally Apple's problem. They refuse to switch to open-source encrypted formats like RCS that work ACROSS platforms while still being encrypted and secure. The entire world either uses cross-platform apps like Whatsapp or open protocols like RCS on GoogleMessages.
What have you been smoking? You do realise that it's APPLE that prevents the use of RCS? Apple uses encryption on iMessages but prevents it with other phones because they refuse to use RCS format which ALL other phones support. This is very much an Apple problem, which is why they're being sued by the DOJ.
