Double the motor, double the fun? We took two European born vehicles and brought them on THIS vs THAT to do our new favorite thing, a DRAG RACE! First we have our Integrated Performance 5-cylinder turbo 565hp 2017 Audi RS3 and lined it up against Sammy Sammy and his flame throwing 2012 V12 715hp Lamborghini Aventador with double the motor and a Sheepy Race exhaust amongst other mods bolted on to this thing. We know what Lambo's can do, but don't sleep on our little Audi!

I went by him saying that he went up to 195. Do all Lambo owners drive up to close to 200? I don't think so.
Watching an RS3 keep pace with a V12 Lambo is really something to behold
I mean that car is about $150 more you just put $8k into that RS3! It’s a wrap unless you got something puttin down really serious power! I’ve seen one with total weight reduction with a bigger turbo plus some what built bottom end on stock transmission put up almost 1000HP and it was unbeatable until a 1300HP GTR came along. However that’s what it takes to beat this car at that point $200k+ for most builds including the car and no not one stock hellcat even had a chance lol!
lets be honest though we would all want that aventador even over an 800hp RS3 or 1000hp Rs6 etc
the editor at hoonigan for these videos is amazing at what he does, mad props to him
Still think having the launch at the start is a bit meh, be better to have them both do burn outs/warmup at the start 🤷🏼♂️
Finally a supercar owner that can launch his car...
If i can afford to hoon a supercar i wouldn't even care. Daily a Rolls Royce, Titanium exhaust Aventador for the sound even if it isn't "fast", ETS R35 GTR for drag racing, 9.0L stroker Gen V Viper ACR for the track just because of the manual transmission.

When they said we’re going weight reduction... lambo owner felt that
when Vin said it made 565 WHEEL horsepower, on a Mustang dyno, that means it made almost 700 crank, which is a shit ton of power
It also made a lot more power than it should have before the mods, so I'm not sure how well calibrated that dyno is.
Maybe 630 crank

Moral of the story? - Buy an RS3, throw a cpl bolt-ons at it, and do 90-95% of what an Aventador can do for like 1/8th the price... AND have a carseat in the back! *AND* have trunkspace for more than 1 backpack!! LOL Legit blown away by the RS3's performance😲....Gotta go, Buying something for additional entries now 🤣

Guys, you're really finding your groove with these - the buds hangin' out (F&F 1 vibes), product placement with the Doritos and skittles was SMOOTH someone had some good input on that in one of your meetings ("Oh check out all these snacks I got in the trunk" - I was eating a snack at the same time and loved that), launch timings on point, the pair up is perfect: RS3 vs. Aventador?! Who is not going to go buy Hoonigan merch right now to go win this thing. You guys got it. Love it all and will continue to comment on all of it. The music during the predictions was dope as well, the level of audio from the voices vs. music was perfect, I was grooving along (the first time I've listened to the predictions all the way through without partially skipping, that's why I'm telling you this!). Only a small note: Would love to see a tad bit more of in-car of watching the guy's reactions. Love it! Keep em' coming! Hope it's working out for your sponsors as well :D

I agree. I find it craazy that no one mentions it. I swear I literally could live with that “clunky” “slow” transmission if it makes sounds like that. Kind of the same with a Camaro ss and ZL1 even though v12 sounds better but it has the same silence between shifts

wanted to add years later...my 2018, Stage 2 on E85 has 110,000 miles on it and its still strong, reliable, amazing car. I barely drive my 3, M3's b/c the RS3 is so fun on the street. Great job Audi

I love the small amount of lag on the Lambo’s shifts, makes it seem as if he was driving a stick with the small gap of silence between shifts
They intentionally made it with a single clutch box that was slower than a dual clutch to add emotion and rawness to it, as well as sound. Bouces your head off the seat unlike a double clutch box thats silky smooth
I love how the lambo has more arch gap than the audi 😂
